TOTALLY! Reno is at least cool place to look at and the lake is incredible.
BUT, if you hang around Vegas long enough, no doubt some relative of "Evil Knieval will show and try to jump something......

well, there's really good mountain climbing close by... i was just there and did the normal vegas stuff, but most of the shows are overpriced and pretty average.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Go ride the Sky Screamer its the best thrill ride I have ever been on. It hoist you up 250 feet then you frre fall for about 125 until the line becomes tight.

Plus thats where prostitution is legal. Lot of people don't realize it but in Vegas it's illegal. I spent many nights in the slammer learning the hard way. Wait what?

Re: What to do in Vegas?

Ahh I remember my first GS manager's conference in Vegas and thinking about the fun times to have and then 3 straight days of being up for classes at 530am and not finishing until 9-10pm each day changed that mind set pretty quickly. My second conference on the other hand was amazing cuz a few of us flew out 2 days early. I have stories from that trip that I can't even tell my friends and family about haha.

Re: What to do in Vegas?

If you've never been there before and don't want to gamble... if you have the time, just grab a beer (no open container law) and just walk the strip (and get more beers) and check out all of the casinos & hotels... I love that city.

I won a trip to Vegas in the late 90's. Three days and nights and I quickly figured out that was not enough time. I called the office and said I would be gone another 2 days and extended my trip.
