Re: C-men vs J-E-T-S pregame thread
We were able to lose to 1 NY team to get Chase Young. Didn't work out, but it was great at the time.
C'mon Rivera, you can do it. Lose to the other NY team too. That will be your best lasting legacy. Securing a top 5 pick on the way out.

Riveras Coaching Record: 102 - 100 - 2.
He is desperately needing one win to avoid being a sub .500 coach. I hope the guys don't pull one out of their ass for him. |

Re: C-men vs J-E-T-S pregame thread
All of our remaining games have great risk of a win screwing up our goal of obtaining a Top 5 draft pick. The Jets aren't much better than we are now and Ron "Too Late" Rivera might even start Jacoby. Both SF and Dal are in the playoffs and SF has won their division, so they might rest some key players against us. Honestly, I don't think SF could lose to us if they tried but Dal is another story. We easily beat Dallas in the last game of last season when they had nothing to play for. It would be the capper to RR's hapless tenure here for him to win two out of the last three games he coaches and cost us the chance to draft a great player.

Re: C-men vs J-E-T-S pregame thread
The only good thing if we win and fall to 8-12 in the draft pick we probably won't overreach and draft a QB .. we will take the BPA as we should ..the ODDS are totally against us taking the Third QB in the top 4 picks and having that work out ..

We have the get-right defense. If you're struggling with something, you'll get it right when you play Washington.

I'm getting similar vibes of the 1993 Redskins -Jets game that I went to. The score was 3-0 Jets.

Re: C-men vs J-E-T-S pregame thread
I was at that game! In addition to having endure a totally shitty boring game I also sat in front of three drunken Jets fans. Due to half empty stadium I easily moved to a better seat but it was still a miserable experience. Who knew things would be the same 20-years later? Should’ve just done a header off the upper deck to put myself out of misery. Wasn’t Richie Pettibone the interim HC then?

Re: C-men vs J-E-T-S pregame thread
When a stoppable force meets a moveable object.
32nd ranked offense vs 32 ranked defense. I feel like this game will be brutal but it could also be a fun watch to see two completely inept teams go at it.

Re: C-men vs J-E-T-S pregame thread
Curious to see which side of the ball for us makes me vomit the most.
Letting the Jets set their season high for points scored or watching our offense get completely wrecked? Should be a fun game lol.

Re: C-men vs J-E-T-S pregame thread
I think the chances of losing to the Jets are greatly diminished with Siemian starting. Pick 8 in the draft here we come.

He's no better or worse than Zach. We were never going to win or lose because of the Jets QB situation.
