If I was a 49'er fan, I want to throw your quarterbacks under the bus too. Isn't there a petition to that effect out there? If not, there should be.

this is a ridiculous discussion. lloyd would be the best receiver the niners would have if he was still there. and all their quarterbacks stink. so what are we discussing?

What does it say about his character when he trashes the team that gave him a chance in the NFL? Just be mature about it and say it didn't work out, why toss around insults. Most of you here obviously havent watched much game film here, besides the SC highlights.

We heard the same shit talk from Jets fans last year about Moss.

We'll see where we stand at the end of this season.

Jesus H. Did you and him have a one-night stand and he didn't call you the next day?

oh NO HE DIDN'T.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I agree with a lot of your points. The Niners will improve as the season goes on; I have them at 7-9. I do think Antonio Bryant is better than Lloyd. I also think Randle El is the better football player of the two.

That said, what Lloyd brings to the table in the terms of acrobatic catches is not easily duplicated by any team in the league. So far he has held off Patten and Randle El, so he's doing a good job picking up the offense.

If we are giving Lloyd so much as a chance to be successful here, then you have to like what he's done so far. That catch he made yesterday is something he will be doing a lot of, making Brunells job easy. He's the possession guy, that's his job.

He hasn't done anything to piss off anyone here. So he gets a free pass until he does.

I find Randle El a tad overrated, I think Bryant is better, Moss being superior to Bryant. Anyway, if Lloyd has summoned the courage to go over the middle and take the hit, and has worked hard enough this season that he can actually fight off a tackle, then i will stop criticizing him so much. The catch he made yesterday was one that he could have made in stride but he slowed down to make the leaping grab so right now he hasn't shown much improvement.

You serious? He was running full speed and because Mark overthrew him he had to dive. I don't fault people for not going over the middle if speed is their thing. Moss rarely goes over the middle and no one is calling him a bitch when he's putting up 1400+ yards.

I think you should check that highlight again. The ball was overthrown and Lloyd made a nice effort to come up with it. There was no way he was going to make that catch in stride.

Slowed down to make a leaping catch? We need a smilie showing an eye rubbing face to catch the purest sense of bewilderment. That particular play Lloyd did not slow down especially since if he had caught the ball in stride it he would have been the first TD of the season for the Redskins.
