I read once somewhere that Warner's has such bad arthritis that the bones in his hands are as weak as that of a 90 year old man (no offense to all nonegenarians on the warpath)

I still think Warner will be a good QB next year, hes got a lot to prove and I think he will. I hope he does not go to Dallas. The Raiders could be a possability becuase hes old. The Cowboys have fast receivers and id personally rather have Carter throwing to them then Warner.

From what I understand the Raiders under Norv run the same offense as St. Louis. To some extent, so does Miami. The Cowboys run a more conservative version, but do run the same system. So any of those teams would be getting a seasoned QB ready to step in and start. Although he does have to over come his current slump.

He's not going to Miami. I'd take AJ Feely over Warner any second. If anything he'll play a mentor role, they have one of those in Vinny Testaverde in Dallas (they did sign Vinny didn't they)

oh yea I forgot about Vinny. That rules out Dallas as a team that he would go to. Hes not going to go to Miami either, they have a bunch of QBs still. The Raiders woudl only be interested in Rich Gannon were to retire, which might never happen. I see him getting picked up as a backup somewhere. Mabye Chicago to tutor Grossmen and play backup. They cut Kordell I think so they need a vet backup.

u gotta remember though that not only isn't miami's qb situation exactly solid, but the had a huge pr fiasco when marino resigned less than a week after being hired to the front office.

I hope Feeley does well for them. He looked good for the Eagle the few times I saw him play. Id rather him be in Miami then in Philly

Bears is a good choice, good call Canes...How about returning to where he started, backing up Trent Green under Vermeil

smootsmack:

I'm not a nonegenarian - but I hope to be some day. I take no offense at your comments about "old folks" even though I am probably older than most everyone else here. When I was in high school, they could teach all of "World History" in three weeks...

Warner is done as a dominant starter. He would still be a good pick-up for some teams. As for taking some team to the playoffs.......I dont think so.

Together we could be great smootsmack. Bears or Chiefs it is. Lets see how it turns out.

well it's not gonna be the chiefs unless he's willing to be 3rd string and take a big ass pay cut.

no prob. a team that suprised me being talked about by chris mortenson with the discussion of warner's impending release was pittsburgh. they have three highly talented wrs but i don't think he'd make it through the cold weather. he also mentioned in no particular order the 49ers, the dolphins, the raiders, the cardinals, and the cowboys. i might be forgetting one or 2 though.
