Sounds good to me , my perfect football weekend, OSU 40-Michigan 10 , Washington 16 dallas 10 , Romo 16-34 166 yds two ints , two fumbles , sacked 7 times and Jessica Simpson singing " turn out the lights in Dallas ".

- The Troy Vincent blocked FG, return by Sean Taylor, facemask on Cowboys adds one untimed down, Novak game-winning FG.

- The Mark Brunell-Santana Moss monday night miracle comeback with two TD bombs in the last 5 minutes.

I loved them all, but give me the last two any day. I prefer to win in dramatic fashion. I'll remember those games the rest of my life.
Maybe it was partly because I was there but that 35-7 win over the Cowboys was one of my favorite games ever. I was getting tired of people saying the first victory was basically a fluke. It was nice to leave no doubt with the second Cowboys game that season

I can watch highlights of that game all day, one of my all-time favs too.

That was a serious thumping from start to finish, I loved every minute of it.

Re: Now I Understand Why People Act Suicidal In GameDay Threads

I like the blowouts for sure, but the close, dramatic ones are a bit more memorable for me because:

- The look on the faces of Cowboys fans. Knowing that they went from happy and assured of a win to agony in a matter of seconds is so great.

- It feels like a prize fight, where the Redskins are getting beat up and are on the ropes, but they then summon enough gumption for one last charge and put their rival on the canvas right at the bell. Feels like you had to earn it, feels more satisfying.

I do like blowouts too though. Probably because they're rare for us. I think the author's point is that if you're kicking ass every single week, it starts to get taken for granted by fans. We sit here and say "yeah well I'd never take it for granted." Actually we probably all would at some subconscious level. When the Pats went 16-0 and were blowing people out every week, they had already won a few Super Bowls, and New England fans weren't intense at all. Throw in recent success by the Red Sox, and I think you had a fan base too used to winning. That's why their stadium isn't intimidating at all.

We're more into it and more of a rabid fan base because A) we're starving for wins and B) we're awesome.

you only like seeing blowouts because you're not used to it...that's why its good to be down, you enjoy the blowouts so much because u are not used to them
