Oh well, thats what you get. If Ryan Clark or Franz or somthing messes up bigtime, I'm giving them a pass and putting it on Taylors shoulders.

As Trump would.."this is an easy one...you're fired". No brainer here. The real issue is when they actually let him come back. I think this effectively blows his shot at DROY. I hope he learns from this and grows up. Sounds like his Police Chief daddy needs start whooping some ass. Time to grow up Taylor.

Sit his ass down. He made a huge mistake. He let the team down.
Like Lavar said maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Maybe he can learn from this and finally grow up. I feel ok with Lott and Clark back there. It's gonna be tough though. |

I agree with the benching. He needs to know that what he does off the field can & will effect his playing time.

I have to agree with the decision. it's just a shame that it happened in a week when they could least afford to be more shorthanded on defense. We all knew these Miami guys were trouble when we drafted him...

I agree with smootsmak, the kerry campain has struck again. The washingtonpost endorsed kerry and they are coming after us and are following our players . Gibbs might want to hide until game day.LOL

They need to lock Taylor in a room with Lavar for about ten minutes.

Its the right move. He is a 21-year-old boy with an pro-football player's body. He has to grow up and learn about repurcussion.

I agree with the benching because he got caught. Fairfax county police can often times be dickheads to young people enjoying the nightlife. next time st should take the back roads until he reaches 66 or fairfax county parkway to avoid the problems.

the cops wait out side of the clubs to pull people over as they leave. I think it was a DWB that lead to the DWI. They had a episode of "Madd sports" a while ago were it was portis, gardner , taylor, and cartright. They seem to kick it hard and were all probrally at the party. he was most likely the first to leave and that why he got caught. I've been through it... I bet his coocky attitude got him put in jail though.

I like what LaVar Arrington had to say - this is a blessing in disguise, a wake up call, and I am sure he will be supported by the players in helping him get properly oriented.
Sean made a serious mistake, but he is a very good young man and everything is going to be fine. This is a lesson for the team as a whole as well - a clear message about what happens when you don't show the discipline in your personal life that you have to. Hopefully the players and everyone will come together and the team will be stronger as a result of this misfortune. |

Eventually higher standards will provide us with a better team. Won't be this season though.
