Re: Williams handles his first test
Williams reminds me of the old school player. I have never had any doubts about his abilities, barring injury he should be a mainstay at the L/T position for a long time. I was trying hard to get a glimpse of him leaving the field after the game to see if Ware was going to congratulate him on his rookie performance. I guess the cowboys were not in the mood considering the way they lost. Maybe had they won, their mood may have been a little lighter.

Forgot this one, Matty.

Some of you looked like Eagle fans that day. Yes, I said it. EAGLES FANS. I just wanted a tackle at #4, there were a lot of great O-lineman in this draft. Luckily, we ended up with the best of them. Did Okung play on Sunday? Anyone see how he looked?

Re: Williams handles his first test
Okung is out with a sprained ankle, probably another week or two before he's back.

Re: Williams handles his first test
As happy as I am with TW, it is too early to compare him with Okung. Let's check back on that one in a few years.

Thank you. It took only 1.2.3.4..5 months but I've finally been acknowledged.

I haven't had time to review the game in detail, but I would give TW a B+ given his circumstance as a rookie LT going against D Ware. He did give up a sack and is still not making all the correct blitz pick-ups. But he also had some nice plays, didn't get shoved around, and shows good effort. Having #60 around during camp I'm sure helped his development a great deal.

Re: Williams handles his first test
well he will get tested again with mario williams. i feel like since we beat the boys weve packed it up, declared '10 a success and lost sight of our next opponent, the texans who seem to be in-sync already this season.
can one of our more knowledgable fans start a thread looking at the texans schemes, gameplans, injuries?
