Not cocky, confident. And we weren't really "humble" before, we were humiliated sooo many times we were just a pathetic bunch of "lovable losers". Amazing what winning will do to you...and the nay-sayers.

I, too, am SO done with hearing about the Sox. I hate the Yanks with a passion. The Sox are just irritating. Could any song be more played out than Sweet Caroline? Barf.

Classic...you're DONE hearing about the Sox, yet here you are doing just that. LOL. Just goes to show you, everyone truly is a sox fan at heart. LOL.

Two of the Sox players who were most crucial to bringing them their 1st championship(s) in nearly 90 years did so while juicing. Papi's steroid supplier (Manny) moves to the west coast, and then tests positive (again) and gets a 50 game ban, all the while Papi's production falls off a cliff. Oops. Makes me grin, for sure.

I still swear Varitek was juicing too...look at his drop off after they started testing!
Funny thing is, no one, other than Sox fans who are upset at the players, even care. Guess people have grown so accustomed to players taking PEDS, no one even bats an eyelash anymore. I personally think it's disgusting what baseball has become. By that's my humble opinion.

On a side note, my brother is a MASSIVE Varitek and Tim Wakefield fan...I mean MASSIVE. About two weeks after that so-called list went public, I created a fake list and had my buddy post it on his site for less than an hour. Of course it included Varitek and Wakefield and about 45 others. The theory behind it was the list part 2...a second page was found and exposed. I called him and told him what I saw, he didn't believe me, so I gave him the web address and there was dead silence on the phone. I said "Hello?" He replied, "I don't believe it, I don't f-ing believe it...how could they!!!" I am trying my best not to bust up laughing, and he said "You know, if freakin wakefield was taking roids, you would think he would throw a fastball more than 76 MPH!!!" He then said "man this is depressing". I couldn't take it anymore, I busted up laughing. He was pissed, saying it wasn't funny. I had trouble speaking I was laughing so hard. Then told him it was all a set up. I still laugh just thinking about it.
