re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
^ Still think buying used then reselling is the cheaper path but more work then Gamefly. I have literally been paid to play games. I bought LittleBigPlanet for like $25 and sold it a month later for like $32. I KEEP no games, I have a paypal account just for buying used games I rarely have to put money into. It goes down when I buy then replenishes when I sell. Nice little system and it keeps the wife off my back for buying to many damn video games. =)

I used gamefly off and on. I like it but there can be long waits for new/popular releases.

Funny, I haven't had the same issues with Netflix that I've had with Gamefly.
I've found the delivery times to be much quicker with Netflix too. |

True about selling back, I forget I am one of the few who live about 2 hours from anywhere to trade games in at. <beats head on desk>

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Maybe we have, I don't remember. I do work there, but I read online every day how much some people vehemently hate us so they all kind of blend together after a while. I honestly just like learning from the legitimate controllable mistakes of others as a tool for making sure my store doesn't make similar mistakes because talking about and selling video games for a living is as fun as it sounds 95% of the time.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Netflix has a distribution center in Albany and another one nearby in MA. so I usually have a very quick turnaround. I could drop a movie in the mail on a Monday and have a new one back by Wednesday.

Same here but it seems like any of the new movies never ship.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Sometimes I may have a "short wait" for a movie but I haven't had any major issues. Maybe I've just been lucky.
