Trent Williams seems like the choice to me.

Would you take Berry in the top 8 picks if Landry could be traded for a package including a second (between picks 40 and 55) and a sixth rounder?

Could the offensive issues be addressed with two second round picks?

CultB - If Russel Okung is available and the Skins must pick him over any other prospect - we need to use the 1st and 2nd round pick on offensive linemen in my opinion.

Can we also maybe trade Rogers for a 3rd? And are we sticking with Campbell in this scenario...or re-signing Chase Daniel?

Well, in this scenario we can't necessarily get anything meaningful for those guys before the draft, so whether or not they are in our future plays, we still have Campbell or Rogers going into draft day on second round RFA tenders. The only opportunity would be to trade Landry for a 2nd+.

Eh...probably not. I really don't have a problem with Landry. Just that it seems Landry, Horton, and Doughty all pretty much play the same position-Strong Safety. And I'm not sold yet on Moore as a starting free safety. I think drafting someone like Berry doesn't really help matters. A guy like Allen out of South Florida in the 5th round might be another issue.

I would like to address our QB issue (whether that means drafting someone or extending Campbell), our OT issues, and our RB issue before we address the secondary.

I don't really have a problem with Landry either, at least when we point out that there's nothing that Landry is struggling with right now that Sean didn't also have issues with during his disastrous 2006 season. Our safety play has been very poor, but I really don't feel like that's Landry's fault. He's not having a good year by any means, but the responsibility he has in the defense is so much more than any player outside of maybe Fletcher, that it's understandable if he's a bit overwhelmed.

This team needs more guys who can cover, particularly zone coverage guys given our progressing inability to play any man (especially if Smoot and Rogers both go). But one of the benefits of the uncapped year is that if we find out we have a need for zone coverage players, we'll be able to fill it without using top two round draft choices.

I guess it really comes down to Berry being an all-world player or not. It's been three years--I guess we're due to draft a safety really high anytime now...

Re: Bradford still leads, Locker Clausen gain

Landry can still be a real good player and I would not trade him for a #2 draft pick. His main problem is always trying to blow people up instead of just making the play. I think he needs to mature a bit but I am not ready to give up on him.

Re: Bradford still leads, Locker Clausen gain

Unless we sign 3 new offensive linemen in free agency, we really need to go OL... I think any QB that is drafted right now will be destined to fail... my ideal situation, should we have a high enough pick is Oline in round #1 and one of these guys maybe falls to us in the 2nd....
