Enjoy it. Stuck at work, car dealerships have never heard of a thing called a snow day even if there aren't any customers.

Hiking. I keep forgetting to post it but I've been on a hike every weekend this year and I hope to continue the trend.

1. Santa Monica Mountains - Triunfo Park
2. Hollywoood Hills - Hollywood Hills sign
3. San Rafael Hills - Descaso Gardens/Glendale PD gun range/Emerald Isle Park

Great exercise, fantastic views and all free.

Re: 2014 - What have you done with your time?

From the 13th-16th I was in Seven Springs, PA with a bunch of people in a beautiful cabin. Most of the group skied, but since that's not my thing I just drank A LOT. I've never taken a vacation so early in the year, but it was really nice to take a week off of work and not have to worry about holiday stuff.

Lost 12lbs so far (I'm overweight so the weight is flying off so far), played Borderlands 2 til my eye hurts, watched the Grammys.

We used to go there for our high school ski trips. Really nice place. I'd like to go back though as an adult and ride down the bunny slope.

Hey RR, I was just out in CA in November and had a blast hiking in Malibu. I'm not sure which park it was, but WOW... unbelievable views. Also really dug the whole Hermosa beach spot. Nice area, and not too stuffy for me.

Side note: The tsunami warnings on the beach kind of freaked me out. I'm not used to thinking about a possible exist strategy should a tsunami strike without warning.

Glad you enjoyed the place, it's incredible, which is why I'm still here.

That tsunami warning was probably started by greedy surfers, they don't like to share.
