Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
I really don't expect Helu to jump Royster on the depth chart, particularly if Helu has to sit out a bit with his achilles problem.
And I wouldn't be surprised, though I haven't really checked if possible, if Hightower starts the year on the PUP list

Durability was an issue with Helu coming out of college and continues to be. I think the coaches see him as a guy who is more effective with limited touches. |

Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
Redskins = RBBC. Probably our number one leading rusher this season with be RG3 anyway. I don't think Helu, Hightower or Royster can carry the ball 20-25 times per game anyway, and they won't need to with some RG3 option/keeper plays in there anyway. Keep lots of OL. We will need them.

Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
i believe the number was 7 and we only did that because we only kept 2 QBs. I just dont think it's likely that they start the season without 9 lbs on the roster, and that spot needs to come from somewhere.

I think we keep just 6 WRs, with Robinson having a slight edge right now.

Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
Also, last years wr was a mixed bag. We really didn't know what we we're going to get out of them so we kept more. This year I think they have alot more confidence in our top 4 WR.

Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
well, out of those 8, only 2 still have sure spots on the roster right now.. that's kinda ridiculous.

Also, it should be noted that Robinson was on the PS.

Locks: Garcon, Moss, Hankerson, Morgan. I also think Robinson and Briscoe will make the team. Banks is out...Robinson and/or Crawford will be returners. I really liked Austin last season, but I'm not seeing him make it this year. He's not showing much this year.

How? He said he only sees 2 WRs that are sure things to make the team. That's a ridiculous statement.

Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
Got it now.
I'm still trying to decide on Anthony Armstrong. If he could catch the deep balls thrown to him, he'd be hard to cut and could be a big weapon in an RGIII offense. He's had too many big drops though.
