-Andre Carter was horrible at being an OLB. He just had his best career at DE and is at his best with his hand on the dirt. -Albert Haynesworth( does not wan't to be an full time DE).We don't wanna anger a top 3 DT who is still the best today at that position. -We have no NT and won't be any in free agency. Even if we did what happens if our staring NT gets injured .... -London Flecther doesn't wanna do a 3-4 I hear.( I think)or fits as one. -New defensive scheme all around. Takes atleast a year to produce. -No other ILB to help out Flecther right now. I don't see us going 3-4. I see the Leo Little tho a campaign guy to replace Phillip Daniels or become good depth on good pass rushing downs. I don't see why we should go 3-4 out of a sudden but I do see some hybrid of it. This overall should be the best defense Haslett ever had. I wouldn't mind seeing Jason Taylor come back on pass rushing downs either. I was a big fan of his . |

Re: Leonard Little? Why
You can play AH at any spot on a 3-4 front.
Fletcher has already said he's down with a 3-4 if the team goes to it. Fredericksburg.com - London Fletcher on the 3-4 defense|Rich Campbell "I can play in whatever defense," he said. "I feel comfortable in a 4-3, obviously. I feel comfortable in a 3-4. Whatever they want to do." |

Re: Leonard Little? Why
First of all, this isn't a PFT story, as in PFT didn't break any news here. All they did was link to another article.
Secondly, I think Little is very talented Third, he should be thanking Paul Tagliabue everyday because if he had pulled that DUI homicide followed by DUI again under Goodell's watch there's no way he'd even be anywhere near a football field And finally, just because Haslett told someone Little could still be productive is not the same as Redskins are interested in Little.

Re: Leonard Little? Why
NT= Vince Wilfork possible free agent.
LL next to AH could revitilize his love for the game. Richard Seymore would also be a nice option to bring to DC if he hits the market.

Re: Leonard Little? Why
[QUOTE=redskins202;663527] Why do people here keep saying we will go to a 3-4?.
QUOTE] bruce allen said in the redskins address a few weeks ago in response to a question about possibly switching to the 3-4 . . . he said they were going to run the "skins defense" with a tone that sounded like he had a smile on his face. he also said he wasnt going to give other teams a heads up on what they were planning D scheme wise. he said more than what i put here, and he left it a bit vague on purpose but reading btw the lines it sure sounded like we are going to be running a hybrid defense if not a more 3-4 heavy hybrid.

Re: Leonard Little? Why
Sure why not?
His ex-coordinator doesn't seem to think it would be a problem. Redskins Insider - Where will Haynesworth fit in Haslett's defense? |

I don't mind Leonardo Little coming here for pass rushing downs. If used right our D will be deadly because at times our pass rush was inconsistant. With a very aggressive DC like Haslett than expect us to blitz and use all sorts of type of things on our DL. I dont care about Little pass death thing. This isn't a area of friendship or community this is about winning football games. Joey Porter F up Levi Jones but it didn't stop the Dolphins having a very good LB in him. |

Re: Leonard Little? Why
Sometimes your gonna have to pick up a guy who will help you win some SB's. Unless Little killed the girl on purpose than I wouldn't want him. But his skills are still useful if healthy.
But its just me....I'm not that preist for us to get this guy. |
