Re: Skins v Falcons predictions

Mike Nolan is an extremely good defensive coordinator and I would not shocked to see our offense completely stymied. That said, this is a statement game for us, and a let down game for them. Since I believe Griffin "gets it", and Hall will want to step up (hopefully keeps his trap shut), I am going all in for the Skins.

37-34, last one with the ball wins. (I say Skins)

I cant believe were 0-8 in our last 8 home games, cant imagine that ever happening at RFK.I think it goes to 0-9,cant see us keeping up with ATL offense.Jones & White should have 200 yards a piece receiving

This has all the makings of an RG3 "coming out" party. He has, I think, after 4 games, clearly justified the amount of draft choices we gave up for him. Beating Atlanta, will be the statement to the rest of the league that RG3 WILL be an elite QB in this league. With that said, Atlanta, on paper, is better in every area. Perfect game for us to steal and put the NFL on notice.

Skins 38
Falcons 33

He's justified the draft picks already? How does that math work, 1 win = Single 1st round draft pick?

Man this one is hard to call. I'm usually the one that picks us to lose; and I'm usually right.

This week I feel like its going to be a 2009 New Orleans game or 2010 Packers game (we are very competitive and either win or lose barely)

I'm going with

Redskins 34
Falcons 28

Skins win in a wild shoot out, they use the same game plan on defense as the NO game.

We're going to have to sack Ryan a lot because we will not be able to cover Roddy and Julio. If we dont get booku turnovers we're going to struggle.

By the way Atlanta ranks 29th against the run, meaning Morris will be carrying the load eating valuable time of posesion.

Ball control ball control ball control.

It's what we did against NO and we'll need it here. Only way we win is to keep ATL off the field. The less possessions they have the less they'll be able to diagnose the scheme and adjust.

We'll need to fix the penalty issue and get ourselves into shorter thirds downs that we can then make.

I think we keep it closer than makes sense and the team with the TO margin wins.

I expect an awesome game between, gulp, 2 elite
Offenses.

RGIII leads us out to another early lead and we tire out second half.
