Re: Google Launches New Browser

I pulled up The Warpath in Chrome and did not get the Acrobat plugin error. The free version would be Adobe Reader (I highly recommend Foxit Reader instead), but that shouldn't have prompted you for that particular plugin for any phpBB/vBulletin sites.

Re: Google Launches New Browser

I've been trying to use Chrome more lately and I love how fast it is, but every 10-15 minutes or so it hangs and I have to restart it. Anyone else have this issue? Guess I'll just stick with Firefox.

I actually started using Chrome as my full time browser the other day and have had no issues with having to restart. As far as extensions go, Chrome has almost all the extensions I use in Firefox, so I figured I'd make the jump for a while. So far, I'm pretty happy.

Re: Google Launches New Browser

I use chrome primarily but some of the quirks bother me.. not holding page location when hitting back a lot (though seems intermittent).. text field controls (such as WYSIWYG editors on vbulletin) not working, etc

Re: Google Launches New Browser

Ive been using Chrome for almost a year now for home use. At work there is a website i have to go to that it doesnt (or didnt) work.

I havent had any problems with it. The only issue ive ever had is in windows you can right click and set a picture of hot chick, Redskins logo, or something else you like and set it as the wallpaper on your computer. Cant do that in chrome.

I love pretty much anything google. Dont be evil. Words to live by.

and checking image properties is annoying

Re: Google Launches New Browser

Chrome has been the main vector for spyware where I work. You really need to tweak the settings to make sure you are protected.
