Last night in the Eagles game the sideline reporter showed a flak vest that Vick wears to protect his ribs. Anyone know if Griffin is already wearing this. Honestly seems like should become standard issue on any offensive guy who is going to take hard midsection hits.

The more I watch this kid, I believe that he was a steal for the picks we surrendered. He has the poise of a 10 year vet, for the third straight week, guiding the Skins into scoring territory in the two minute offense. I'll go out on a limb - RG3 is the best two minute QB for the Skins since Theismann. Imagine how effective he will be after a couple years of upgrades on the O-line. I fully expect deep playoff runs by then.

Griffin III is the first true franchise QB since Theismann period. I would have chosen him over Andrew Luck if we had the first pick in the draft. The more Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan pick the right players in the draft and free agency to stabilize this team more and more, the better the team will be, I agree.

We have someone very special here...no doubt. We're always in the game with Bob at QB.

Don't sell Luck short, they are both equally talented. Griffin has more talent around him.

We should bring back John Beck. Then the offense will really get cookin'.

Re: RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season

This kids a stud. Plan and simple. Best Redskins pick since probably Sean Taylor.

We have 2 of the top 5 Rookies right now in the NFL, IMO. Great draft. I'd send those 3(or 2 depending on who your talking to) firsts and that 2nd to them any day of the week.

Imagine Robert in 2 years when he has a better pocket presence and OL as will as a defense that can cover...The possibilities are endless. He still hasn't learned the entire offense and he is just finding ways to amaze us week after week with different skill sets he has.

I'm in no way saying that RG3 is the better QB of the two. Luck's day will come. While I regard both very highly, I give RG3 a much better grade than Luck. Based on the combine and based on their junior years in college before they were drafted. And based on the Big 12 was more competitive than the Pac-12.

If I'm not mistaken, Vick was wearing that last year against us when he got sandwiched at the goalline and broke 2 ribs.......

Vick wears something different from a different company. This interview with one of the founders of evoshield talks about the differences.
