Re: Cowboys-Redskins Game Ball

I give it to Moss. He had two HUGE plays (the 42 yarder that got us inside the 1 and the screen he lit up for ~30 yards) that set up two TDs in the first half. Those were enormous momentum boosters. Cooley's first TD catch was incredible, and his third was a very nice run, setup by a nice throw, but I still give it to Moss (despite no TDs).

Too many to go around, I guess I'd start with the offensive line who just blew up the Cowboys all day long and kept Brunell clean.

Re: Cowboys-Redskins Game Ball

just noticed something key missing. they dont get many chances to shine, but tonight they certainly did. the D - LINE.

they crushed their side of the ball, Daniels was never alone on any of those sacks. the pocket never lasted more than a nanosecond, and their run game was rendered useless. often times i've called them the weakest part of our team, but tonight they terrorized a Dallas QB, and for that get my Game Ball.

Re: Cowboys-Redskins Game Ball

Ah, Cooley, thanks for coming back after your performance last week. The first TD grab was sick. My brother and I watched the game together, we are both big Skins fans, but he was playing against Cooley in his fantasy league. Every time Cooley scored we would high five and then he would say something like, "crap, now I'm down five points." He did say that it was the way he prefers to lose, with a Redskins win.

I think the ball goes to the O-line though. Fox kept flashing the stats of how many times Bledsoe and Brunell were sacked and knocked down. Bledsoe was something like 7 and 14 while Brunell's had a double goose egg. Amazing game. This is how I imagined the first meeting was going to be with Bledsoe's immobility. The O-line also had one of their best run-blocking games of the year, maybe second to the Rams game.

Re: Cowboys-Redskins Game Ball

I went with Danials. The guy just demoralized Bledsoe. Having Griff and Salavia sure did help didn't it!

The whole team deserves credit. The Skins played as a team and did wat they are capable of.

Go Bears....

Re: Cowboys-Redskins Game Ball

This win has made me really happy, but on the other hand i'm about to lose in the first round of my fantasy football playoffs, my opponent had portis and brunell on his squad, he's down by 20 right now, but his defense doesn't play until tomorrow night.

Re: Cowboys-Redskins Game Ball

They all deserve it, but I voted for Daniels. If he does anything remotely like this in the next two games, look out. You can see what a DE can do for this defense!

Marcus was everywhere, Brunnell was mistake free, Cooley had a career day, and Clinton just set the tone for the offense--we cannot be stopped!

Not a bad job of coaching, either!

i doubt we'll be seeing more 4 sack performances from any defensive end on the roster.

Cooley. 3 TD's and a run over Newman. Runner up Daniels.

Gotta give it to the 12th man, the fans. FedEx was as loud as a tornado today, and that's why Dallas got so many false start penalties, and why we got so many sacks: Bledsoe couldn't call audibles.

Re: Cowboys-Redskins Game Ball

Cooley overall. Why? Great diving catch on one TD, great sneak into the back of the EZ for another (and kept going to give Brunnel the passing lane) and that last TD was amazing. He was running guys over. I almost wish he played HB!

But I'd also give out O and D balls - Daniels for the D and Brunnel for the O, but they both represented individuals getting the benefit of a great team performance.
