Re: Redskins Sign DT Greg Peterson

What's particularly frustrating to me is, the D-line seemed to be the strength of the team. Now, presuming we lose Haynesworth and switch to a 3-4, the D-line appears a HUGE weakness.

Our O-line was the biggest weakness of the team by far, and yet, they have only signed 1 career back-up.

In other words, they haven't done anything of note to strengthen the team's biggest weakness, and done everything to tear down the team's biggest strength.

Having discipline is more important than having a strong d-line. Haslett & co. will make Peterson a star.

& this is based on what passed information. I like our LB coach coming out of Pittsburg he knows the 3-4 but if you can name any player Haslett made a star.

Not worth talking about. If this guy is still around in September, we're in serious trouble w/our defensive line.

Even Kemo reminds me about all the junk I read two years ago about Erasmus James, the defensive end who was a top draft pick & got injured, but somehow would miraculously come back and start for us some day. We're all hopeful that this Kemo comes back, but who knows?

Can't... wait... until.. draft... day. At least then there will be real action, and PERHAPS offensive line help.

excellent signing. this guy is a major sleeper, literally everyone has been sleeping on him. dont be surprised if hes a pro bowler for the next 10 years. no need for haynesworth anymore.

yeah we should just have mega-threads for everything since they're so easy to jump into, they stay on topic so well, and they break down everything into nice segments

starting next week the washington post will just put everything into one huge article too

You know SS, I've noticed how some here are beginning to question your authority on posting threads.

If you ever saw the movie Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World, there's a scene where Russell Crowe catches one of the crew members dissing one of his lieutenants. Crowe has to pull the lieutenant aside and remind him that if he allows things like that to continue, the crew won't respect him, and eventually they'll walk all over him.

That crew member received 5 or 6 lashes with a whip.

Just sayin' ...

It's the Chris Wilson thread redux.
