You guys have to realize that the Steelers have one of the best defenses in the NFL. Daniels looked a little uneasy back there and that was cause of their defense. That's a really good team that we played today and we still had a shot to win it.

Sam would've had 3 turnovers today against that defense.

This is VERY true. JD looked skiddish in the beginning, but definitely looked better as the game went on.

On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

7-3 and a Thursday night game against Philly coming up. We are concerned about a division title, and not a playoff birth. Usually our season is over by now. Lol. We lost to two of the best teams in the league and our opener. We have two against the Eagles and this one is on the road. We lose this one and Im certainly not going into all is lost mode.

I hope Lattimore and B-Rob are ready to go, but if they are not let them get 100 percent healthy. Going to both need of them for the playoffs. More important than a game we can “afford” to lose. I am so excited about the future of this team.

We are “ahead of schedule” as far as I am concerned.

If ur gunna lose, lose to the afc with 2 weeks to gameplan. Not suprised. Now if we lose to the eagles, that hurts bad, and they are better. No way we win that game without lattimore or brob

110 percent. We would be even more ahead if Ertz had the ability to move forward with a ball in his hands. Here is actual footage of him demonstrating his best move to do so….

I think we will probably split with them. Losing to them at home isn’t going to prove anything. Unless it is bad but I dont see us getting blown out by anyone.

Re: On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

After the Philly game we have 4 home games, a 10 day break, and a bye week. Our players will get rest and our coaches will get time to work Lattimore into the defense.

Philly still has to play Baltimore, Pittsburgh and us twice.

If Lattimore plays today we win. The media is going to fawn over Philly but I think we win the division by week 14

Hard to be too upset. After all the mistakes, we were like 6 inches from having a decent opportunity to get into position to kick a game winning FG against one of the better teams in the NFL.

Bukakke party, I'm fucking dead. I needed this joke so hard, because this weekend has been shitty as fuck.

Wait, who is bukake face?
Can’t cut him.

I’m just pissed. Need more production from everyone not named Terry or Ekeler.

Don’t get in the habit of making excuses for players. People need to produce.

Re: On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

We are absolutely ahead of the curve. We already surpassed our expected win total (or will if we win 1 more game). And Vegas doesn't base that shit on feelings.

Losing tonight crushed me a bit because I hate the Steelers.

But we made 10-20 mistakes and were still right fucking there.

I think it's good that Harris/Peters/Quinn/Jayden have changed the narrative.

They'd all slap our faces if we talked about moral victories. And that's a good thing. We're here to win.
