I thought the scuttlebutt was that they actually ended up being somewhat close.

Re: Our next coach??

Snyder hires the GM first. Then, the GM hires the coach. It's the only way to do it properly.

We need the best available GM for the long haul. Snyder needs to go back to France, n'est pas?

Re: Our next coach??

If I remember correctly when Synder was asked about why he passed on hiring Bobby Bethard his reposnse was something along the lines of "Bethard wanted too much money". So going out and bowing tens of millions of dollars on signing bonuses is not an issue but paying your front office people is?

They have indeed gotten much closer over the years. Snyder reached out to Marty when his son was diagnosed with cancer to give him access to the same doctors and the Mayo clinic that he used when he went thru the same thing.

Back OT, I would be very happy with the following set-up:
President of Football Operations-Floyd Reese
General Manager-Phil Savage
Director of Pro Personnel-George Kokinis
HC-Whomever Reese and Savage decide upon!

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

I like this scenerio very much. These guys have real time info about the state of the NFL and they've worked with or around each other at one time or another.

And think to top of this list, I wouldn't mind seeing Jim Harbaugh come here.

Excellent lineup. I'm not sure why any of those guys would want to work with Danny but we'd have a great FO if they did.

Since the Skins are aren't even competitive this season me and my brother in law have been ranking on the Skins during the games. Zorn's headset came up during the Monday Night game and had us rolling.

The saying 'laugh to keep from crying' definitely applies here. I recommend it during these times...it's really cathardic watching the Skins games like this.

The Raiders were Dungy's project as well? He won a couple of playoff games with the Raiders and had 4 years with them that we'd all be dancing in the streets to have with the Skins right now...under Al Davis, who is far worse than Dan Snyder.

I'd be happy with Gruden.
