I'm just going by his attitude and the way he presented himself overall. He seems to be very aware of the kind of player he is and someone that has learned from his past mistakes. And he seems to be motivated to be a great player for reasons other than just a big paycheck. I could be totally wrong of course, that was just my impression of him as a person. He seems to have his head on straight and his priorities in order.

Investing so much in Haynesworth does present a bit of a risk but it potentially takes our defense to an elite level which makes the team much better...and we don't have to look to Ryan Boschetti for depth anymore. Now starters like Golston finally go to where they belong (solid depth on the bench)

Disastrous move is quite hyperbolic

Do what ?Only three owners play this type of wreckless fantasy football ,Jerry Jones, Al Davis, and the Danny...............it's worked well for all three of them so far.

I'd have to say the Smack Talk here. Notice how he give respect to Jerry Jones, Al Davis but calls our owner "The Danny"

Us signing Haynesworth bothers you doesn't it? That's understandable. After the G-mens collapse at the end of the year (As I pointed out to you around game 14 or 15 and you scoffed) it's becoming more apparent that the gap has closed significantly. Go sign some more d-linemen. Quantity doesn't make up for quality. It feels so good to be a Redskin fan right now. I'll be sure to wave as we pass you by.

Wreckless fantasy football? We re-signed a guy who played for us last season, brought back a former Redskin for a very reasonable contract, and signed the best FA to hit the market in years. Not to mention we are addressing needs. If being wreckless is addressing major needs with 3 top flight players under 30 years old, then I'll be wreckless all day.

And before you say anything about Haynesworth's contract, keep in mind there were 4 or 5 other teams out there willing to give him around $35M in guarantees. It's not like we overpaid for some guy no one else wanted. Don't forget the Giants were making a push for Haynesworth as well. That's why you're after Canty right now.

And there's also this:

HAYNESWORTH'S "REAL" DEAL IS LIKELY FOUR YEARS, $48 MILLION - NBC Sports Blogs

Thanks for trying and have a nice day.

LOL...........I didn't take a shot at the Skins and you will see that from my posts I all in all respect the team and the players .........and no one has more admiration for Joe Gibbs then I have .My perspective is that from a fan of another team.Dan Snyder is bad for the NFL and so is Jerry Jones and Al Davis, are they personelly nice people ....hell I don't know, the Danny seems to be.I'm irritated that my team now feels it must do what your'e team did to it's fans, screw us over to stay even.
We're leaving a perfectly good stadium to move 10 yards away just so we can own it and charge the fans more money and why to keep up with only 3 owners ,PSL's are getting rid of fans who have had their seats for as long as 60 some odd years. It doesn't matter if it's Haynsworth or Howdy Doody......no linemen ,Giant Eagle ,Cowboys ...........or Skin should get 100 mill(I know really 48).....he had a good year no doubt but he hasn't earned it.Now our linemen who feel they also must get the same thing,so we ...like the Skins must charge 8$ for a water down lite beer and 5$ for a hotdog....oh yeah and $12,500 for PSL's and another $2800 for the tickets .I haven't even mention the parking, but hey.......nice pick up.

There were about 6 other teams offering pretty much the same money, which is why it took so long to get done. Yeah, blame Snyder.

It has a fantastic product, but teams only get 8 regular season games all year to turn a profit from the live fan. That's the reason it's much more expensive to go to games than any other major sport.

Are Snyder or any other owners supposed to be "nice" to the fans by keeping all prices (tickets, concessions, etc) dirt cheap? It's a nice thought but a suicidal business model.

I don't like how expensive all things NFL have become, but it is what it is. It's not Snyder's fault, and it's not gonna change either.
