While he has had some injuries, I believe he's only missed 8 games due to injury in 6 years. He has been available.

“His arm strength is exceptional, and (Wentz) will make some throws at times that have you thinking you’re looking at the best quarterback in the league,” said Joe Banner, a longtime NFL executive and co-founder of the 33rd Team told The Athletic.

He's a higher functioning Rex Grossman. He can play at an elite level, and he can make idiotic plays that will leave you throwing your remote at the TV.

Pat McAfee said you most definitely won't be bored watching Wentz lol.

Also, Jimmy G is going into this trade market wanting to be paid as a true QB1.

And we all know, after Rodgers and Wilson were officially somewhere else, Watson was the only other one that gave any hope to the future, and you can only assume they were not going that route or willing to wait on it. I think there is a very small chance Wentz will win here but I hope I'm wrong. It is funny to me that some are saying they like this deal vs signing a free agent because they'd have to commit more to a free agent...you commit as much as you want in the contract they sign...you make it a prove it this year type deal or we can move on from you. I think we've also learned Ron doesn't want a rookie QB...at all...so don't look for one to be drafted this season or next, unless they have a top 3 pick...which could happen.
Expect you have to get the FA to agree to that and you are bidding for their services against other teams, i am pretty sure free agent Wentz was not coming here.

Jimmy G would have been the worse move possible- more in trade for him and he would demand a brand new deal.

He was completely propped up by a top 3 running game and top five offensive mind in the game.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz

Wentz can make throws only a few other guys can make.. Mahomes , Allen , Herbert and Stafford.

Jimmy G is a system QB like Alex Smith was.

No free agent QB is coming to Washington unless they are out of options.
