I have no issue putting in some backups or second stringers down by 30 plus.

Doesn't matter who is behind that line with this shitty of a game plan and play calls. Brissett isn't great and he would IMO have done just as bad today. I would not replace howell but the o line may get home killed and ruin his psyche at that.

They struggled week 1 cuz AZ has a decent pass rush
.. they just can't close games out as we've seen. If we play a good pass.rush EB.better change his fucking tune or this will be a common occurrence this season

Backups playing with Buffalo vs our starters.

Either way, I didn't see any quit, just dominance.

And actually, I don't even think the defense played that bad overall. They weren't great on third down, but when do you give the other team 5 extra chances, especially a team like the Bills, this is what's going to happen.

O Line sucks. JDR sucks . Riverboat Ron sucks - hope is is gone after the season is over. The jury is still out on EB. SH will be good - going thru growing pains. Need to run the ball more.WR's - real good, TE I think Cole Turner can take LT place eventually LB's - suck. DL is good - can be dominating. Secondary will be okay

No pressure at all, whatsoever on Allen. I swear the pass he threw out of the endzone he had like 10 seconds. Third downs like you mentioned. Our one turnover was just Allen throwing a 50/50 ball on third and long. Basically a punt. Our defense is supposed to be better than “not bad”. 77 points in two weeks. Not good.

Re: Good Guys vs. Bills Gameday Thread

It's hard to be better than "not bad" when you're offense is constantly coughing up the ball. Some of those 77 points are on the offense too.

Bottom line is they got beat in all three phases by a better team.

Re: Good Guys vs. Bills Gameday Thread

Ron, Jack and EB get an F from me. I just see too much basic shit from my couch that these guys can do better.

For instance, if you already know that 71 sucks then why isn't he getting help? I would have Bates over on his side all the time. I'm not going to get beat w/ sacks & sack fumbles. It's hidden yardage in the field position game. If I have to leave in 7 guys then so be it. But you are not going to tee off on my QB.

Where were the screens to slow down the rush?

Ron should have been all in EB's ass about protection. Protection would be first, not my 5 wr's all out all the time so I can show off my offense. What is your protection plan? EB didn't have one.

And please, stop covering their best guy w/ a safety. Where was the spy on Allen?

These guys can't do basic shit sometimes.

You just don't typically see NFL Veteran HC's suffering blowout losses like today.

Bieneimy seems to enamored with his playbook. It's like he's trying to prove himself as a coordinator and Howell and his protection be damned.

Rivera and JDR are as mediocre as it gets in this league. I've seen enough of those two. The jury is still out on Bieneimy. He's been very uneven in the early going.

EB is in the same situation as the owner. Coming here when there was a spending freeze. GM Ron taking backup d backs and ignoring the Oline in the draft.
Let EB have a real offseason just like Harris. Not one where the main goal was for douchebag to gtfo. Give him some semblance of an oline and an experienced quarterback. He will have both next year.

As shitty as today is the future of this team without Dans stink on it is right around the corner. Full complement of draft picks, ton of cap space, and a new owner eager to put his stamp on things. It is the perfect storm. Look at this year as a “who wants to be part of the new direction” auditions. That goes for players, coaches, brass, and the mother fuckers selling loose joints in the parking lot.
