Right now I have the all injured team. On my bench, in one league, I have Harvin, Vereen and White. I am hoping they can give me the final push into the playoffs and beyond over the final weeks.

In one league, If Harvin & Vereen come in strong, I will have as my RB & WR's:
RB: Morris, Murray, R.Williams & Vereen, L. Bell
WR: J.Nelson, AJ GReen, Harvin, Ashlon Jeffrey

Picking five (2 RB , 2 WR & Flex) out of those will be tough. Undoubtedly, I will end up consistently choosing the wrong five.

(J. Thomas is my TE and Brady my QB)

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread

I'm really screwed because Arian Foster may not play (and he plays Sunday night which is another issue) and I have no one to drop to pick up Danny Woodhead. My team is currently:

RG3
Steve Smith
Boykin
Keenan Allen
Alfmo
Foster
Gates
Crosby
Chiefs DEF

Bench:
Reed
Moreno
Blackmon
Andre Johnson
Brady
TY Hilton

So basically. I can't drop anyone there can I? I don't wanna lose any of those guys. I might just have to eat it if Foster doesn't play because Denver is on a bye.

Alright guys critique the trade I just accepted. I gave up Fred Jackson for Phillip Rivers and Justin Blackmon. Blackmon will probably ride my bench but at least I don't have to start Brady anymore. I'm trying to figure out if I can get a decent 2nd starter running back for Brady right now.

Maybe TY Hilton or Justin Blackmon. Although I'm not sure how much better Woodhead would be over them. I know if you drop Hilton or Blackmon they'll most likely get picked up, unless there's plenty of decent waiver wideout options.

AD and my choice of Woodhead or Tolbert. Like I said, hopefully I can flip Brady for a 2nd starter because I don't trust either of those guys to get consistent touches. Not sure who would be a decent trade offer though. And I'm concerned because apparently my league has it set so my trade offer is pending until Saturday morning so owners can vote whether to veto my trade. I can't wait around until Saturday to trade Brady because then it won't go through until early next week.

I just don't like getting rid of a rb like Jackson. Brady gonna turn it around. I imagine u weren't doing shit in that league?

Well, looks like DRave needs a RB if Foster is out. So even if Woodhead isn't much of an upgrade, its cut someone or get a goose egg out of one of your RB slots.

Check your stats. Maybe a 0 is not a death knell. Can you take a loss? Blackmon and Hilton are tough cuts and will be snapped up. If you have to pick one, I would go with Blackmon - just cause the Jags suck.

True but Jackson is always going to split carries with Spiller. He's a solid #2 but that's his peak. And I'm 5-3 in the league but teams are so closely split that the 1 team with the best record is 6-2 but the team with the worst record is 3-5. It's too close to know where I'll end up, but only 4 teams will make the playoffs.

And I don't trust Brady to turn it around this year. I think his hand is f'd up but he's trying to play it cool so teams don't target his hand. And in three of his past 4 starts he hasn't gone over 8 points. I thought with Gronk back he would turn it around but he still hasn't yet. I don't think I want to wait until the end of the season to figure out if Brady has a little magic left, I think he's going to have a down year and they'll probably get bounced out of the playoffs early.

I can take a 0. The person I'm going against currently doesn't have a WR or a DEF starting. I'm a projected 102 vs. their 76.

But lemme tell you about my other team. I'm about to play a 2-3 team. Their lineup currently:

Stafford - Bye
Megatron - Bye
Cruz - Bye
Nicks - Bye
Alfmo - Good
Demarco Murray - Was questionable, but looks to be starting now.
Jermichael Finley - IR
Prater - Bye
Chicago DEF - Against GB projected 4.25

I won't get into her bench, let's just say there's player 1 is on a bye and 1 is on IR.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread

Looks like I'm going Cam Newton starting vs. ATL rather than RG3 vs San Diego.

Sorry RG3.

Sort of moot since it looks like Blackmon gone for the year. Go ahead and grab Woodhead if you can.

I wasted a draft pick on that guy thinking he would be a good late in the season addition. Now he's out for the season because of suspension. That's my season in a nutshell.
