To me personally, raising the adult age to 21 makes sense. Again w/ the military, I'd be OK with raising that to 21 as well. However, I don't think that would be very good for lots of kids that need the military to make a better life for themselves. That would be my only hesitation.

The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

Fuck that as a parent of a teenage girl I wouldn’t make it to 21 lol. Kidding. Not really though. Honestly some people grow up faster than others. When i was 18 i had no business being called an adult. Simply didn’t think like one. Some of my friends were already on track to be a contributing member of society though. Everyone is different. However since it would be impossible to grant adulthood and all the rights afforded by it on an individual basis im gonna go with 18 for the military based on exactly what you said. I know people who it completely turned around. Great point SD. Drinking absolutely 21. Same for weed cigarettes etc. Voting should be 21. Most teenagers vote based on tik tok. As for marriage Mike Moon should probably have his computer scrubbed for kiddie porn. |

What a narcissistic little cuntbag Trump is.
A 70+ year old man still just needs people to say nice things about him. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tru...ice-things-him This is like if I invited Punch over for dinner, and he gave me a high five on the way in, then he purposely burned my house down. And I was like it's fine, he gave me a high five.

Look as we all know I'm an old fuck , I lived when at 18 you could do it all but rent a car and things seem better back then. No BS but kids learned to handle the drink and smoke back then at an earlier time. Again I point out if I am matured enough to decide by myself that I can give my life for my Country you need to explain why I can't have a beer, again someone needs to convince me.

I believe the 18 vs 21 drinking is tied to driving. 1984: MADD influences the passing of the federal National Minimum Legal Drinking Act (MLDA), raising the legal drinking age to 21 years old. This law restricts people under the age of 21 from purchasing or publicly consuming alcohol, which helped to reduce the number of motor vehicle crashes by a median of 16 percent. I have had German au pairs in the past; they started drinking or legally were allowed to drink at 14, alcohol to them is very not taboo but also keep in mind they live in a country that has a ton of public transportation. I have a 15 year old son, i will say this: he doesn't need any help from a drink on the ability to make stupid decisions; he makes plenty sober.

So am I invited over for dinner or…. I will say that Trump going after or not going after people depending on how they feel is basically how he decides every move he makes. He prefers dictators over presidents and prime ministers for the same reason for God’s sake. Dude is a 70 year old man with a 14 year old brain. |

MTG absolutely needs to be driven out of the party as one of the steps in fixing my party.
We knew she was anti-semitic, racist and anti-American from past statements and conduct, now we know she's also treasonous (in the moral if not legal sense). https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...robe-rcna79675 |

If McCarthy and other GOP members do not step up they are equally as bad.
Homeland Security Committee and defends treason as long as it is committed by white, Christian, males? That shit only happens in Trumps warped GOP. |

Not quite don't forget Manning. We have become so tribal that the tribes support treasonous activity if it aligns with their political outlook.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
I remember quite a few Dems that were pissed at the Manning BS, Obama was dead wrong to commute his sentence . If missed it I apologize but I haven't seen one Republican bad mouth Green over this.

"If Western Civilization Dies, Put It Down as a Suicide.............If we are losing, it is because we are losing our soul, our sense of purpose as a society, our identity as a civilization. We in the West are in the grip of an ideology that disowns our genius, denounces our success, disdains merit, elevates victimhood, embraces societal self-loathing and enforces it all in a web of exclusionary and authoritarian rules, large and small......" |
