This game is awesome! I am loving it. Target has it on sale for $13 definitely worth it if you have not played it yet.

I am fine with this since I don't feel like dropping another $500 on a console.

Sounds about right, I've read a few articles that say new consoles are at least 3 years away. With the way they can update things with downloads these days their shelf life is a lot longer. |

I know you guys are mostly FPS gamers, just wondering if any one knows of any good new RTS games.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
I wish. The only news I've heard on the RTS front is that the guys who used to make up Ensemble Studios (Age of Empires/Mythology & Halo Wars) have created a new company and were working on something. Oh and there's a new Stronghold coming out in June.

Ensemble had some good stuff. What's Stronghold? never heard of it.

It's a Medevil time frame rts where u build up a castle to protect your people and also regulate food distribution and crime and so on and so forth. It's a really good series with the 4th one on the way.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
This is some BS here, Nintendo could have easily kept the Wii going especially for families that really can't afford a new machine every few years. I never play mine but still seems too soon.
