JC is just a younger version of Gus Ferrotte. He'll hang around the league and make a decent career but nobody will know what team he's playing for. |

Oakland - if you paid attention, I said he would possibly start there. Carolina - Do you watch football other than the redskins? Matt Moore's been playing extremely well in Carolina and has the support of his team. Unless there's a coaching change, Moore will be the starter in 2010. Tampa Bay - The just team spent a 1st round pick on Freeman. He'll be their starter in 2010. St Louis - St. Louis is unquestionably drafting a QB with their 1st round pick. Its possible they could bring Campbell in and start him the first few weeks, but the pressure would be to high to start whomever they draft by the end of the season. In general, some of you give Campbell way too much credit. On a GOOD DAY, he's a mediocre QB. On most days, he's below mediocre. Give me a list of current starting QBs in the league who have started atleast the number of games Campbell has and i garauntee you Campbell will be one of the worst, if not the worst, in the group. He's been inconsistent his entire career - even when he's had a good line in front of him. Yes, he's thrown for over 3,000 yards this year, but almost none of his passes go for more than 5 yards... I'd say atleast 80% of the yards padding his stats are YAC. He holds on to the ball way too long, makes boneheaded plays with regularity, and is just not a good - or even average- QB for someone with his level of NFL experience.

Oakland-If he can't beat out Russell in a fair competition, he should just retire Carolina-Moore is playing well, but that's not to say Campbell couldn't pretty easily start over him Tampa Bay-Agreed. But...if they make a coaching change all bets are off St. Louis-No guarantee they'll take a QB in the first round Campbell isn't a bad quarterback. I'm one of those who wants us to move forward without him, but I'm not going to make the guy worse than he is just to feel better about my opinion.

Finally someone that's not a Campbell HOMER!!! Geez I agree 100 %, I guess that dude doesn't watch much football or he just wants to have a below avg QB for ever lol. JC Sucks folks and I kept backing him all season and I even admitted that I was wrong about him and Cutler (Atleast Cutler throws TD'S). JC is having a career year LMAO (18Td's) GET OUT OF HERE! ![]()

I'm also not sure JC could start on Oak as Gradkowski looks decent at times (kind of like JC). Had he not been injured in the game vs the Skins I think Oak might have won. |

Re: Do You Want Jason Campbell Back in 2010?
Just read an article on ESPN.Com that said we are likely not bringing Campbell back (no shocker there). You have to be subscribed to it though to read it but it's right on point about the future of this organization.

The last place Campbell will end up is wherever zorn lands. To me, its clearly apparent that Zorn doesn't believe Campbell has what it takes.

Re: Do You Want Jason Campbell Back in 2010?
Cleavlelands O-line is awful... worse than ours even. The same excuses people want to make for Campbell after 5 years and 50+ starts could apply to Quinn at 3 years and about a dozen starts. Campbell wasn't much better than Quinn at the same point in his career and Campbell was benefitting from a much more talented coaching staff and surrounding cast of players at the time. Campbell's exhausted all his excuses. Quinn still has plenty of them. I don't think that Quinn is ever going to be a great QB, but he's got more of a chance to be a good one than Campbell does.

Re: Do You Want Jason Campbell Back in 2010?
I saw it and think its just speculation. ESPN also had an article entitled "Brennan to start in 2010?" or something like that. ESPNs subsciber content is a complete joke.

The O line can be fixed with other draft picks and via free agency. Trade Cooley for picks and grab a RB and Free Safety. |

Agreed -- seems like it's mostly rumors and I don't have to pay for PFT and BleacherReport.
