I know you guys are mostly FPS gamers, just wondering if any one knows of any good new RTS games.

I wish. The only news I've heard on the RTS front is that the guys who used to make up Ensemble Studios (Age of Empires/Mythology & Halo Wars) have created a new company and were working on something. Oh and there's a new Stronghold coming out in June.

It's a Medevil time frame rts where u build up a castle to protect your people and also regulate food distribution and crime and so on and so forth. It's a really good series with the 4th one on the way.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
This is some BS here, Nintendo could have easily kept the Wii going especially for families that really can't afford a new machine every few years. I never play mine but still seems too soon.

Mine was such a waste, haven't hooked it back up since moving 2+ years ago. I should probably sell it. |

IF my 3 year old didn't play it, it would be a dust collector. I stood in line for several hours for that stupid thing, too!!!! I think if we have learned anything with this gen of consoles; graphics is not everything game play is the big driver. But with that said the Wii with out HD is like cereal without milk.
