Re: SuperBowl Week
The answer is simple ... he wanted to try and pick the ball up and make a play on 3rd down, not dive on it.
Cam is in a perfect position and distance to dive on the ball ... if he wanted to do that. Here, as he starts to reach down, ware puts his arm out and now Cam is too close and his leg is too stiff to now dive down ... https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...55204225776955 ^^ here is a link to a GIF of the play. More clearly shows Cam approaching the ball with the intent to scoop it up ...

Re: SuperBowl Week
Side note on this whole conversation: I've never seen fans of a single team taking such hard stands on a player not even on the Redskins. LOL.

Re: SuperBowl Week
I was surprised by the Panthers strategy on offense. I'm not sure how much difference gameplan made though when everybody underperformed.
OL was losing to their DL. They couldn't run-on didn't make lanes and RBs didn't create, pass pro wasn't good (to include a key missed blitz pickup by Fozzy). Cam lost 2 fumbles. WRs couldn't separate and didn't make any plays and had drops. Talib made Olsen disappear. Brown's injury hurt and Stewart wasn't the same after he got banged up. |

LOL!!! I think ol' NC is about to hyperventilate! He's either going to internally combust or he's going to shart himself!

I had no problem with the play to be honest with you. I didn't really question the man's effort or toughness, and I chalked it up to a brain fart. THEN....he started to speak to the media and pretty much blew it from there. How can you do so many things that put yourself out there on the field, and then come tell reporters you didn't want to get hurt? Is he really that dumb or is he just that selfish? I don't think anybody up here questioned his toughness until he made the excuse about not wanting to get hurt. I agree. He did goof and he is human. So why not just say that? Why say some bullshit about not wanting to get hurt?

I'm just dumbfounded by the league MVP saying he didn't want to get hurt by diving on a fumble during the Super Bowl. A fumble that could have gave them another opportunity to come back. I assure you I went to bed the same that night and sleep just as good. Me personally, I think there are a lot of aspects of Cam that is straight up selfish. It's about him. What kind of tool wears cleats honoring his own MVP? (an award he most definitely deserved) How vain do you have to be to wear some shit like this?....lol Cam is like RG3 in the aspect that he wants and loves the limelight, until that same light starts to burn him. Then he wants no part of it. He too will be humbled one way or another. I think we've seen the last of "the Dab". @sonofbum A little Dab will do you but too much Dab will undo you! You know it's bad when old man Wade Phillips is trolling you.

Re: SuperBowl Week
I haven't listened to NFL Radio all week because it's just Cam talk 24/7.
Someone please pour me a big steaming mug of who gives a flying fuck. |

I think Denver, Houston, and Cincinnati won't make the playoffs. Washington, Green Bay, Minnesota, Seattle, KC, and Arizona might make the playoffs. New England will make the playoffs. I pick Pittsburgh and Carolina in the next superbowl. Ugh. |

Re: SuperBowl Week
Is it any different than when RG3 was a thing? Polarizing people are going to dominate the press. That said, I don't listen to any of that shit to begin with...lol Media love to build up a guy just so they can tear him down. It doesn't help when these guys give them all the ammo and fuel they need.

Tough to say before any moves are made, but I think Seattle is a couple of moves away from being a strong SB contender again. |

Re: SuperBowl Week
denver's D is good enough to be back in the playoffs. they got there with tim tebow at QB and i'd have to imagine osweiler is just a bit better.
that's assuming they can keep the band together. it's more likely they lose quite a few FAs, since people like poaching SB rosters. then all bets are off. |
