Re: Choose Your 2014 Redskins Head Coach (Volume 2)
Have to admit it but i've been impressed by Snyder's actions of late. I thought Shanny would be gone for sure after the Chief's game. I also thought there would have been a bigger uproar after the benching of RGIII. It seems he's taking that whole "staying out of the way" thing seriously....to an extent, which is nice to see for once.

I would assume that if Cousins is the guy that Shanny thinks he could be then there is a shot he will be here next year.

I will be shocked if any of the coaches on that list would be willing to work with Mr. Jock Sniffer.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

BTW ... one of the most successful owners during the Gibbs era? Eddie DeBartalo. Guy hung out in locker rooms and was a HUGE fan of his players.

However, if you have a player that has a direct effect on your business, like a Brady, Manning or Breees, and they've earned their stripes, I don't see a problem with it once in a while. A rookie QB that has one good year under his belt? Probably not a good idea on so many levels. |

Bill polian said yesterday that manning and Jim Kelly basically.told the owners what to do and what they wanted was always there for them.

That is correct I would not!! In business you learn not to befriend your direct reports. If you do they will more than likely take advantage of you. That is business 101.. If my boss had a relationship with one of my reports, I would feel hampered in how I could discipline that report. The problem is Synder was the kid who was picked last in backyard sports, probably picked on in high school, and now wants to be one of the cool kids.. Who by the way sucks at Madden in Franchise mode... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

You have little to no idea what the friendship is. And little to no idea what responsibilities they have as an owner and franchise player. You make a whole bunch of assumptions based on selective things you choose to hear. It's easy to just put the blame on Snyder every time, but you're not using your brain if you do-especially this time

In case you guys forgot, Synder was the one who coveted Shanahan. He's the one who wined and dined Mike trying to hire him while Zorn was still coaching.. Mike didn't magically appear. This was another Dan blunder.. How many years of failure do you guys need to realize he is a horrible owner. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone with you guys defending the sniffer..
