WE went 6-10 last year! What have we done to get that much worse?! It appears we have 2 QB's more capable of running the offense than McNabb ever was.
I agree with what you are saying. I think what is keeping the so called 'experts' from moving us to the next level is our QB's. Grossman and Beck do not excite anyone. While they are playing well in the preseason, the preseason play is not to the level of regular season. I think they want to see them playing well in the regular season games and game plans before they can believe in us. Grossman and Beck could very well fold under the pressure of regular season defense play. It is still very much a wait and see situation for us at QB. The media is so caught up in this concept that the NFL is "Qb driven league" that they are blinded by it. I am not. We are a much better team.
We have improved so much in our O and D lines, which is where our major weakness was. QB play was also a major weakness, but so far it looks much improved as well. We have to see it in the regular season.

A little late there. Although I will give you credit, when I came upon the post I found on Half Smokes he hadn't mentioned anything about the Redskins winning the East.

Re: Redskins Hatters In The Media

In week one we were "The team that won against the injury depleted team". This week we are "The team that found a way to win when last season they would have found a way to lose." PROGRESS!

Neither is Tony Dungy, who has jumped on the bandwagon.

As soon as we lose a game, we'll hear that tired ass good Rex/bad Rex bullshit. Mark my words.

As soon as Rex throws another pick we're gonna hear the good Rex/bad Rex stuff. People just don't think he's capable of putting consistent good football together. And everytime he throws a pick you just sit there and think oh shit, is he about to unravel? But this game proved that he was capable of forgetting it, coming back and playing good enough football to win. I honestly think even though Grossman didn't play that well today, he showed enough to say we're sure he's changed from his days in Chicago. I'm looking forward to next week.

Lots of love on the airwaves this morning. These "hater" theories are quickly losing steam.

Maybe it's because we've already met our predicted win quota in the 2nd week of the season. Remember guys we're only gonna win 1 more game this season, max.

I'm not expecting us to go up too much in most of the power rankings though...but what do I know

I wouldn't either. We barely beat a team we dominated statistically. In other words, we played a sloppy game with a lot of mistakes, because if we had finished drives like we should've the game shouldn't even have been close.
