I hate to say it, but it appears the coaching staff wasn't ready for toay's game. There was no reason fro anything but inspired play after the way last week's game vs. the Jags ended. We looked old, slow and disinteresting today. It was a sad performance.

Titans starting a rookie at qb. No way the skins lose this game. GW will do some soul searching and realize that he calling the D way too soft. I know we are not blitzing as much because of our beat up secondary, BUT blitzing can also take pressure off the secondary.

Memo to GW, grab your testicle detector and find your balls, so you will call more blitzes next week.

I don't know if you guys realized this, but the two big plays to Toomer and Burress happened even though we had direct pressure on the qb. It's not that we're not blitzing enough, it's that Eli Manning was able to get the ball off before we got to him, and our secondary didn't cover the wide receivers well enough.

Geez, what a mighty big FORK stuck in our ass. I am getting calls from the Bengals of the 1990's asking if I would like to cheer for their team and better playoff chances than for the Skins.

I had a feeling we would lose this one. I'm not happy about it, but we didn't get totally smashed like last year. It just wasn't out day today....

Yeah, what a tool - he had a whopping 1 tackle today. I couldn't get over how he celebrated when he deflected that pass. It was like he just won the Super Bowl, married Jessica Alba and found Jimmy Hoffa's body all at the same time. It's a deflected pass dude, calm the hell down.

did we even scout the giants for tendencies?

we do tend to beat the crap out of lower tier teams, so i'm not so worried about the titans, but without prings fully healthy by week 9, things could get harsh. I've kinda given up on the indy game already... we'll just have to hope for plenty fo turnovers with the secondary we've got right now.
