**** this jackass. I'm SOOOOO glad this idiot is on the Panthers and not here. I'm sad to see the Panthers have to deal with this scrub.

That said, Hurney needed to be fired the moment he resigned Jake Delhomme to a huge contract after throwing a 5-6 INT game in the playoffs. He's now signed Williams, Stewart, and Johnson to huge contracts and they haven't done diddly squat. Moronic GM moves to say the least.
What a punk. I wouldnt call him a one hit wonder just yet but his second record isnt topping the charts.

I was, early on in the season, thinking that if they aren't going to dress Rex we ought to let him go and use the spot for someone else. But, the one comment Griffin made about Rex telling him you want them to score so you can have time to win it, and then even more the end of the 76 yarder last week, Rex came up to him right away laughing and smiling and said "you can smile till Wednesday". Those moments were good things for a rookie (yes he's still a rookie) qb to hear.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 7 Style

Did anyone else see this? (My apologies if it is elsewhere here.) But seriously, WTF? (Reported by Dan Graziano.) Shouldn't Joe be encouraging the Panthers to go crush the Cowboys? Isn't a cardinal rule that our favorite team is whoever is playing Dallas?

This was an odd one: Former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs gave the Cowboys their Saturday night pep talk at the team hotel in Carolina. I think what's weird about it is that the speech seemed designed to help the Cowboys feel better about screwing up the clock management at the end of the previous week's game in Baltimore, which means it seemed aimed at coach Jason Garrett, which means I wonder why all of the players had to hear it. But Jerry Jones is an odd cat. Also interesting in this anecdote is that Jones seems to indicate that Gibbs was the one who gave him the idea that the head coach should be one of the coordinators.

This sounds right to me. Several times I have heard RGIII say something along the lines of "Well, Rex told me ..." and always saying the right thing.

He needs to grow up, but he is still doing better than Andrew "Bad" Luck.

/rant over.
No big deal calling the reporter "sweetheart"...it's after a game, he's pissed that they lost, I give him a pass on that. But his tone is just awful. Cam comes across as a front runner. Everything great when they're winning, but when the chips are down I'm not sure I'd want him leading my team.

all personal fouls and pass interfence calls should be open to a coch's challenge.
