Re: Skins cowboys postgame

Why don't we have Niles Paul returning kicks? He was doing it for awhile before he got the butterfingers. Dude couldn't catch and now he can't run back kicks. Meh.

Re: Skins cowboys postgame

I'm thinking a lot of people won't be. Too many warm bodies, not enough potential.

Well........we will have 18m additional to shore up some badly needed trouble area's. Can't revamp the entire squad....but should be able to make substantial impact.
And on a positive note, we won't have to worry about paying a first round draft pick....

I've never thought about that, why isn't he now or ever been hired on to coach ST's? Wonder if he has ever shown the interest, or maybe its just not his thing. But he's got a lot of fire, and I think thats necessary to get people up to play special teams, and make big plays. Hmmm?

I agree,Moss needs to be returning punts. For some reason skins have always been afraid to use starters as returners dating back to Gibbs while other teams had no problems with it.Rod Woodson did it for years. When was the last time a returner on any team got hurt returning kicks?I'm sure its happened sometime but i cant think of a for instance.
Were not using Aldrick Robinsons speed catching passes why not returning kickoffs?

Jordan Pugh was released.

Washington Redskins Sign Josh Hull, Kyle Nelson, Trenton Robinson « CBS DC

Also they signed Kyle Nelson as a long snapper. I guess they don't trust any of our current lineman to get it done.

ALL-22: Breaking Down Alfred Morris VS The Dallas Cowboys

Another good breakdown on Alf's/OL game vs the Cowboys.

Nice.

This season there has been zero wrong with Alfmo: 377 yards for a 5.2 ypc. That 5.2 YPC is ranked #2 among #1 RB backs. Ben Tate only avg more at 5.3. McCoy is at 5.1 and Reggie Bush at 4.8.

With the offense, Alfmo is the least of our worries.

that said, if you don't run alfmo, then it doesn't matter how good he is. 75yds/game is a bit low.

I agree, thats where coaching comes in...the first couples games we were down so quickly, had to throw to get out of that hole.

Like some been saying, its not a talent issue with this team

Re: Skins cowboys postgame

Some of the runs we call are so counter productive its not alf's fault at all IMO ... playcalling is killing our offense at critical times
