Imagine if shithole parents stop raising trash criminals. That would be nice.

How about progressive piece of shit DA locking up criminals and not letting violent criminals out on bail.

How about real gun control which is mandatory sentencing of possession of an illegal gun. As illegal gun are used in 70% gun crimes…in some cities, mid 80% of all gun crime. Gun control should be strictly enforced against those who use it in crimes.

What a shitty story.

Involuntary manslaughter has to be the minimum here (if no basic facts change).
Of course it is a shithole it is Texas. If an earthquake took the state into the Gulf of Mexico would anyone shed a tear? Probably not

lady just starts firing randomly at fleeing vehicle w 2 year old in car

--------------

The long-time partner of an Oregon father gunned down in an apparent road rage incident earlier this month has said she believes the altercation began because of windshield wiper fluid.

Dennis Anderson, 45, and his partner of 18 years, Brandy Goldsbury, were driving back from a day trip on the night of July 13 when the passenger of another car opened fire on Highway 18, killing Anderson. The Oregon State Police has deemed the shooting a “suspected road rage incident.”

road rage is scary. i used to get into a lot of them. had one last week where a guy was forcefully trying to cut into the long left turn lane after he skipped up ahead in teh straight lane .. I didnt let him, he gave me the finger, and was all road ragey i gave him the "step outside" motion ... then he didnt look our way.

this guy was an old guy. i would have whipped his ass and im no tough guy or pretend tough guy. if he had stepped out, i would have put him in the hospital

it got me wondering.

why would this old dude flex so hard when he was clearly being the aggressive driver?

if he got out and i got out .. would i have been shot?

I had my 10 year old in the car.

Re: The 2nd Amendment Thread

We all get ticked off on the road sometimes, but to go to the extreme of taking out a gun and popping off shots like you're in Die Hard? Fucking lame. Lock these dopes up.

I remember seeing that 4 years ago. A littler closer to home:

https://www.wmar2news.com/news/local...ted-death-rate

Baltimore City has nation's second highest gun-related death rate

Of course this is the direct action of Baltimore’s irresponsible prosecutors who refuse to enforce laws and often don’t prosecute illegal gun possession. We know most gun crime is committed with an illegal gun…75-85%.

So why are folks who hate guns refuses to prosecute those who have illegal guns?

Let’s look at another Baltimore corrupt politician who under federal indictment:

Marilyn Mosby, Baltimore: Elected in 2014 as Baltimore state’s attorney, Mosby was one of the first prosecutors to campaign on a platform of de-prosecution, decarceration, and denouncing the police. Once in office, she delivered on her promises. The results for Baltimore have been devastating. Homicides in the city shot up to 342 in her first year in office—a 38 percent increase—and have not dropped below 300 during any year of her tenure. Mosby has attacked the police relentlessly, including her attempt to prosecute six police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, which resulted in no convictions and an ethics complaint against her. She refuses to prosecute entire categories of crimes, much to the dismay of Baltimore businesses. Mosby seems to have no substantive plans for the office, instead spending her time skipping work and traveling around the country, according to an inspector general’s report. Not surprisingly, Baltimore’s population has declined by 35,000 between 2010 and 2020, as residents continue to flee the violence-plagued city. Her only remaining supporters appear to be the convicted criminals she treats so leniently—a club that she might join.

Defund the police movement has failed and minority communities have suffered the consequences. Cities that installed these policies have blood on their hands…

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police in Prince William County are looking for a bald, heavy-set man driving a Kia Soul after a woman reported having a firearm pointed at her during a road rage incident in the Woodbridge area.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Richmond Highway and Featherstone Road south of Woodbridge just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9 for a report of a brandishing.

https://www.wric.com/news/northern-v...in-woodbridge/

Pikesville resident Ronald McKnight, 29, is facing multiple assault and weapon charges after allegedly threatening another man during the road-rage incident, which was reported at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29 on Pulaski Highway near Harbor Road.

It is alleged that the victim told state police investigators that he pulled up behind McKnight’s Honda CRV, which was stopped in the middle of a travel lane on Pulaski Highway shortly before he was threatened.

Police said that the victim honked his horn at McKnight, though the CRV did not move, prompting him to walk up to the driver’s side of the vehicle to check on his well-being, believing him to be unresponsive.

When the victim approached the vehicle he found that McKnight was allegedly pointing a handgun at him through the window, according to state police. McKnight then fled the area.

Alexandria Police are investigating a road rage incident involving the brandishing of a firearm in Old Town.

The incident occurred at around 6:22 p.m. while the 57-year-old female victim was driving near the intersection of Cameron and N. Washington Streets. The victim was not injured.

Police are searching for one suspect who allegedly pulled out a handgun, although did not provide a description of the suspect or the vehicle.

Last year was one of the deadliest years on record for the United States. In 2021, gun homicides and non-suicide-related shootings took approximately 20,700 lives—a 6 percent increase from the first year of the pandemic in 2020, which already saw a significant increase in gun violence over 2019. At the same time, reports of road rage shootings increased significantly. The data is clear: With easy access to guns, road rage can turn deadly.

Experiencing aggressive driving on the road is not uncommon—roughly eight in 10 drivers surveyed by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety reported experiencing at least one incident in the month before the survey. But the presence of a gun can turn such an encounter from a few unpleasant minutes into a dangerous incident for the drivers involved, their passengers, and pedestrians as well.

Using Gun Violence Archive’s database to analyze road rage incidents involving a gun, Everytown Research & Policy determined that the number of road rage injuries and deaths have increased yearly since 2018. Rising to more than 500 people shot and wounded or killed in over 700 incidents, 2021 was tragically the worst year on record for road rage shootings. In other words, a person was shot and either injured or killed in a road rage incident every 17 hours, on average, during 2021.
In 2021, an average of 44 people per month were shot and killed or wounded in road rage shootings—double the pre-pandemic average.

These road rage gun events worry me. I dont out at night anymore unless its a high end restaurant and movie, dont get all drunk ... but i do drive at least 2 hours a day and eventually you end dealing with an aggressive asshole driver.

id like to see enhanced penalties for road rage incidents when a gun is involved.

When a drug dealer or some drunk tough guy who gets shot at 2 am, theres a level of the victim putting themselves somewhat in danger.

When its dads and moms driving to work or the grocery store at 2:30 in the afternoon ... that just hits different.
