Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
The reason you never hear about this guy is because he isn't that good. I would pissed off if we drafted him in any round. I would much rather go with Kellen Moore. He might be undersized but he PLAY! Ryan Tannehill hasn't impressed me at all. I've seen him of Texas A&M game so trust me when I see we much better off with Landry Jones, Nick Foles, or Kellen Moore.

Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
Tannehill has outstanding mobility, a good live arm, pretty good accuracy, and leadership skills. You may read that he played wide receiver but he was a QB before that and has started at QB for the last two years. He's a definite first round prospect.

Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
How else could I have described him as I did?

Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
Fine. I, and all draft sites that I have seen, describe him as a top prospect. You describe him as undraftable (you said you would not want him in any round). We'll see who is more "accurate" down the road.
In the meantime, CBS has him as their #4 QB, ranked in the first round: 2012_QB NFL Draft Prospects - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com And here are his numbers for this year: 61.1 % 3415 yards 28 TD 14 INT 296 rushing yards (5.4 ypc)

I'd like to see them draft Tannehill, if only because we'd get to see his fiance in Redskin outfits...

Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
I really don't see the Skins giving up what it may cost to guarantee a shot at the top 3 (assuming all declare). The projected top pick for Luck is being speculated at a potential 4 first round picks or 3 firsts and 2nd's......crazy.
AND I personally don't think the SKins have any intention of heavily mortgaging future drafts (and I fully support that concept) in order to score a QB. He may not be the perfect guy....or maybe he will, BUT if he is not work out we WILL have future options to take another swing at the plate if our draftee does not work out. .....other holes to fill as well. Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
I saw Tannehill play here this season and he had a decent game 2 Tds 3 Ints.. I didn't come away thinking he's a big time QB In fact I think Landry Jones is a better overall talent.

Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
I'm 100% convinced Luck is the real deal, he's got the talent and hunger to succeed. He's in it for the love of the game, is a physical specimen, smart, good character, I can't find anything wrong with him.

Re: 2012 Draft-QB Prospects (Part III)
I would and wouldn't look back or listen to what the critics will say, I would go with my gut feeling. The other guy I would trade for is Barkley, who i consider the second best and slightly below Luck due to his physical size, other than that he's also very talented with good character.
