Re: Redskins Final Cuts
I don't know. Honestly haven't seen the depth chart in weeks, but thus is what I was told tonight would be the opening day depth chart. Could change I suppose

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
Thanks for the responses. If Williams can give us a bit of inside shove in the running game, I'll take it. Detroit's O is going to hang it's hat on the arm of Stafford. The D line should cause trouble for most offenses. Go Lions. Good luck Skins. Maybe we'll see you guys in the post season.

It's probably the way it should be anyways.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
Yeah I think that is the old depth chart with all the cuts removed. Its not on the site unless you google depth chart.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
What do you mean? L Brown is my Avatar and he was the RB when I was still in Lanham!!! It is more of a joke, although it would be cool if it could be done.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
I wonder how many receivers we will dress on game day. I'm thinking just 4 (not including banks).

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
Why would you only dress 4? I think 5 would be the minumum if you truly needed to air it out in a 2 minute drill situation, and to have someone cover injuries.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
5 receivers plus 3 tight ends plus banks? That's quite a bit.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts
I understand, but say you are down by a TD and get the ball back with only 20 seconds left. No time to have any RBs in the backfield, you need wideouts. Also, what if you get into a shootout with say the Giants or the Rams, etc and someone gets popped? If you got the weapons use them. Odds are none of these things will come to pass, but you never know. Be prepared is the best policy.

if you really need to air it out, they'll have 7 guys 20 yards back anyways, so you might as well keep some big bodies to try and box them out. |
