I still think you ride him out... Miami's defense is really good this season and like you said, NE's special teams did much of the work (remember, Brady could have had a second td if Moss caught the short pass in the end zone and if chung didn't run that blocked punt in, that could have very easily turned into a Brady score).

Also, Brady had success through the air before moss... with guys like Branch and Patterson as his weapons. He'll be able to spread the ball out and it looks like Ben Tate may be serviceable. The receivers won't get the solo coverage they enjoyed without Moss, however.

I like this trade for you. You just picked up a top 3 TE that performs close to a WR1, in addition to a top-5 running back.

Which two of these three:
Turner v. Cleve
Torbert v. Oakland
Torrain v. G.Bay

Re: Fantasy Tips

How about this - I need to cut some guys at the bottom of my roster to make room for back-up QB or TE. We play 3 WR's, 1 RB and a RB/WR flex. Its a PPR league (.5 per reception; 1pt per 25 yards receiving/rushing).

Here's my RB's and WR's:
Colston (WR1)
Royal (WR2)
Garcon (intended to be my WR3 alternating with Harvin depending on matchup but not really panning out).
Harvin (same as above - Moss prolly helps him until Rice comes back)
M. Wallace (I think he is going to explode once Ben gets back)
Brandon Tate (Picked him up this morning - Question is what will he do now that Moss is gone).

RB's:
Turner (RB No.1 - but not lighting any fires yet)
Torrain
M. Torbert (Outperforming the rookie Mathews, but does he keep the job?)
Ricky Williams
Thomas Jones

I am leaning towards ditching Williams, Jones, Harvin and/or Garcon when my QB, TE or K goes on bye. (They happen at different times so I really only need to clear one spot). Any thoughts?

Re: Fantasy Tips

Garcon will be lucky to get in much with Wayne and Collie. He's doomed.

Re: Fantasy Tips

ditch Garcon, but I don't like it, i'd hang on to your RB's bro. Tolbert isn't ever going to take over Matthews, but he's great right now. I'd dump him before RW or TJ.

Re: Fantasy Tips

Another one of those tough decisions people would like to have.

Jamaal Charles or Peyton Hillis?
Jamaal Charles or Ahmad Bradshaw?

I'm not repeating myself, as I've got more than one team to manage.

none of those D's can stop anyone on the ground. i would go with turner and either of the other two... it's a toss up. in the league i have Ry Matthews in im starting him just cause i'm going to start to enforce a "start when facing oakland" rule. i think its a harder decision for you than it is for me... tolbert wont get as many touches i dont think, but torrain has that kind of unknown factor about him. im going with a wait and see with torrain.

I'd go with Michael Turner as well. I have him in my league, but I'm hating the spliting carries things with Snelling. Plus Turner doesn't catch any balls. I have Forte as well, you know how that's working out for me! I picked Torrain and he will start this week ahead of Forte that's for sure.

1. Torain (1 'r') - He's the main guy and GB's D is injury-depleted.

2. Turner - Only because he hadn't been 100% and Snelling should steal some carries

3. Torbert - Matthews is healthy, just not getting carries.

Good job. Foster is way outplaying Johnson so far and in the end should be close. CJ is going to be nowhere his 2500 yard prediction, he's on pace for more like 1400. Finley could be the top TE in the NFL by year-end, he's Rodgers' favorite target it seems. Solidifying the TE spot for you puts this trade in your favor.

only worry about torain this week is that i saw a stat saying GB hasn't allowed a 100 yard rusher this season and only has allowed 2 rushing td's. so i wouldnt expect a huge game out of him... but who knows. id take torain over tolbert still.

tolbert (1 'l')... dont hate me :cheeky-sm

Re: Fantasy Tips

So my Stillers defense has a bye.

My other two choices are: Tampa's D v. Cincy or Panthers v. Chi. Which one?
