Only way would be as a backup.

How could it hurt? Give Reinhart a shot but having a back-up plan is never a bad idea.
Who;s your inactive then to make room on the active roster for him?

Have they filled the active spot yet?

I would inactive Mason. He doesn't add anything to what Portis and Betts bring to the table.

I agree. Reinhardt starts with Montgomery backing him up. Do you sign Kendall just to have him sit inactive? We actually have homegrown talent, lets use it.

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)

Once Thomas goes on IR they still need to fill his roster spot. I don't care if Kendall is inactive, he's just insurance.

But he can play teams, particularly on a day like Sunday when Smoot and Barnes (two other guys who play teams) were both inactive. Barnes may have been week 1 as well (can't remember)

Kendall won't be playing teams

Couldn't agree more, that's why Mack should have been drafted by us.

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)

I'm hearing that Armstrong is going to start.

I'd say that makes sense being that C. Reinhardt wasn't even dressed this past SUN. If Chad is considered the backup wouldn't he at least dressed for the Rams game.

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)

Who the F is Armstrong??

I feel like a broken record but there's a perfectly logical reason as to why Rinehart has been inactive. He only plays guard where as someone like Montgomery can fill in at guard and center.

Lmao. Never heard of Armstrong. I she talking about Montgomery? And if he is, that's not even close.

Re: Offensive line depth (R. Thomas' injury)

Wow the Redskins insiders are always so hard on the front office. I think his assesment of the Oline is a little to harsh. They have not been that bad. They gave up two sacks to the most fierce pass rush in the NFL. Heyer has been decent, and I expect him to continue to get better. Anyway here is the story.
