I don't get how blank rounds can be live, is this on the manufacturer? Is it an issue of the prop person not knowing what they're doing?

Good read here about what it means to be in charge of handling weapons on set.

The current rumor is that the prop master was non-union and wasn't following proper procedure - if true he should be the only one taking a charge on this. RIP to the poor girl who died - dying due to someone else's negligence is a terrible way to go.

Sounds like a rumor to somehow run cover for a moron like Baldwin…how anyone holds respect for this guy in the first place needs their head examined. Clowns and morons including Baldwin.
