Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
The colts must have a plan to bring in another Big splash vet QB .. if not they won’t sniff a playoff next year .. and losing to JaX was a team effort and coaching .. sounds like Frank didn’t have his boys ready and needs to place blame on Wentz ..

Some tidbits on Watson:
@MarkMaske It is believed several NFL teams would be willing to move forward with a possible trade with the Texans for Deshaun Watson if the grand jury decides Friday against criminal charges. Interested teams would have to be comfortable with the possibility of an eventual NFL suspension.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Trubisky might actually be a good fit for the Colts, especially if he's learnt last year. Analysis says he's better in a heavy play action scheme, and having a very strong run game plays into that. They need to invest at WR though. Pittman is good, but Hilton is declining and probably out the door in FA.

I think with the way everything is falling, Mariota might actually find himself in a starting role.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
Sources: The #Bears are closing in on a trade of star pass-rusher Khalil Mack, sending him to the Los Angeles Chargers for prime draft pick compensation. @RapSheet The compensation The #Chargers are sending a 2nd rounder and a 6th rounder in 2023 for Mack. Massive. Wait, Khalil Mack is only worth a 2nd and 6th? Doesn't seem that massive to me. But the Chargers just got more ammo to go after Mahommes and Russ.

Chargers gonna be back to losing in the playoffs regularly in no time.
They have a nice squad and a QB1.

@RapSheet
#Texans QB Deshaun Watson will not face charges. His criminal matters are over. **Roger Goodell has entered the chat**

Also:
@AlbertBreer The 22 lawsuits are still pending. But that a grand jury returned no criminal charges is a very significant development, and presumably a big step towards Texans trading him and Watson returning to the NFL. Interested teams are now more likely to come forward.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Seattle and Philly have more trade ammo. Although now I hope he stays in the AFC. Given the less amicable relationship between Watson and the Texans, they may bend to his wishes.
