Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Robert Griffin III
(Was - QB) Julio Jones (Atl - WR) Malcom Floyd (SD - WR) Alfred Morris (Was - RB) BenJarvus Green-Ellis (Cin - RB) Martellus Bennett (NYG - TE) Trent Richardson (Cle - RB) Jason Hanson (Det - K) Cleveland (Cle - DEF) In my league, I think it's a toss up between RGIII and Matt Ryan as top 2 qb's. I picked up RGIII in the 4th rd of my draft, and felt strange when I benched Brady for him...I wanna start Garcon, but don't trust that situation yet. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
My first round pick of Aaron Rodgers hasn't really panned out the way I had planned. But I suppose its still early. I've had really good luck with my WR's in the WP money league though.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
My brother has Aaron Rodgers, and he has been underwhelming for him this year. It's kinda killing his team because he depended on him for a bunch of points.

Rule number 1: Kickers ALWAYS in the last round, QB NEVER in the first round.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
He HAS to pick Rodgers every year in rd. 1. No idea why...some things you just don't ask about, ya know?

On that same team, I just traded my second QB Matt Schaub, Colston and Ben Tate for RGIII, A. Bradshaw and P. Hillis. I'm kinda desperate for RBs on that team so trading Tate, who isn't being used heavily like last season for 2 more RBs helps. I have a ton of WRs so I can afford to lose Colston. No Saints WR is reliable anyway, Brees spreads the ball around to different receivers every week. I started to second-guess it this morning because of Schaub's day yesterday but it already went through. It's a keeper league and we start 2 QBs so I'll be starting Rodgers and Griffin weekly. I have Percy Harvin and Calvin Johnson as my other WRs...but I'm extremely thin at RB since Fred Jackson and Jonathan Stewart have missed time. *Griffin big fantasy upgrade over Schaub *Colston swap for Bradshaw probably loses me a few points but helps my bad RB situation *Hillis and Tate are both non-factors without Foster or Charles getting hurt, wash here. Thoughts? My old starters: QB - Aaron Rodgers QB - Matt Schaub WR - Calvin Johnson WR - Percy Harvin WR - Marques Colston RB - Alfred Morris RB - Fred Jackson TE - Vernon Davis Flex - Jonathan Stewart My new starters: QB - Aaron Rodgers QB - Robert Griffin III WR - Calvin Johnson WR - Percy Harvin WR - Randall Cobb/Jerome Simpson/Brandon LaFell RB - Alfred Morris RB - Fred Jackson TE - Vernon Davis Flex - Ahmad Bradshaw/Jonathan Stewart Any points I lose from Colston will be more than made up by Griffin and having a full roster of healthy, quality RBs, which I've had trouble fielding. RGIII has outscored Schaub 122.70 to 86.95 in this league this year. I'm not looking back. RGIII is mine for years now, keeper league! It's a 10-team keeper league with the same guys for almost a decade...very competitive league. I've been lucky with the keepers I've been able to snag. From last year, I kept Rodgers, Schaub, Calvin Johnson, Fred Jackson and Vernon Davis. I drafted Johnson and Davis as rookies and picked up Rodgers when he was injured and dropped one year before he blew up. This team is wining this week to move to 2-2. Yep, that solid roster was below .500, like I said, competitive league! I started out 0-2. My RB production has been trash.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Week 5 starter questions.... Peyton Manning @ Patriots or Big Ben at home against the Eagles? Also need to fill one WR slot with either Brian Hartline @ Bengals, Garcon home against Falcons or Michael Crabtree @ Buffalo.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Agree w/ Garcon(and it's close). Dont agree with Peyton. Ben has been incredibly productive this year, and it will continue.
