And pretty much all of his field goals except for one appeared to be absolutely straight down the middle, and his kick offs were fantastic. Almost wished I had started him on my fantasy team.

Shoot, Cundiff alone might be worth two more wins in the column.

Why did the Ravens release this guy? Inside the 50 this guy seems money.

He's been under 80% between 30-39 yards for the last four years; granted that's better than Gano, but it isn't exactly money.

However, I agree that this change alone will translate into more wins. I'd rather have Gano than Cundiff kicking a 50 yarder in OT, but with Cudiff the game is less likely to go into overtime in the first place.

You also have to wonder what it does for an offense when they have faith in their kicker to put through a routine kick; one would imagine that it takes a little pressure of the offense knowing that when they have the ball in opposing territory, they don't have to be flawless to come away with points.

We all had to hold our breath whenever Gano kicked, it was very calming to know if the O moved the ball in to the 30's we were coming away with points!

I always hold my breath when we are kicking a FG. I don't trust any kicker but so much. He had a great game and his kick offs were money.

I was nervous on that last one, was that 47 yards?

I was thinking, this is close to his 50-yard max range...but he made it easily.

Looks like Shanahan made another good decision, even though it confused the fans.

His first kick was the one I was worried about. It barely squeezed in the right upright.

Yeah, I thought if it had been lower it might have bounced off the upright.

I like the signing of Cundiff. But Graham Gano was starting to come on strong and it appears that Mike Shanahan's patience with him ran out. Seeing as though Cundiff is the more experienced kicker, does anyone here think that a mistake was made in the Redskins releasing Gano? I was hoping Gano would be to the Redskins what Adam Vinetari was once to the New England Patriots.

After seeing last week I can't see why anyone would think letting Gano go was a mistake.

If Gano is such a treasure why is he still unemployed?

Yeah people were saying, in the media especially, ' I think the redskins now have their franchise QB', well after seeing Cundiff, I'm starting to think that we MAY have our kicker we've been looking for since Mark Mosely.
