Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Im at work. Office building is completely empty. Especially on my floor, the other 3 companies on my floor are all closed. They removed the lounge/entrance area furniture and everything.

I cannot stress how empty this building is.

Go to take a shit ... and I see some dudes legs from the open bottom area of the bathroom stall door. theres a mother fucker in the god damn shitter. where the hell did this dude come from?

With covid and all that, im not taking a hot dump within 2 feet of some other guy so I go to piss and that only made my urge to shit even stronger. I guess its like tetris and you make more room at the bottom, the new stuff moves down the line waiting for its turn.

As long as we are talking bathrooms I never understood dudes that will pick the middle urinal or stall when they are all open, why not use an end one? Probably the same dude that will park right next to you when there are 10 open spaces on either side in a parking lot.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Special riot coverage on ABC interrupting episode 4 of The Last Dance. I never understood why anyone wants to watch live coverage for more than a minute of people looting, police chases, etc, etc. I was so pissed when they interrupted the NBA finals for the O.J. car chase. That crap was on all the major networks for over 2 hours.

The riot coverage was on for two hours, seems pointless when it dominated all the news casts. Someone please explain the point of the extensive coverage. It would not be on if people weren't watching. How many times do people need to watch idiots breaking store windows?

You haven’t lived if you never troubled shoot an entertainment system issue (TV, PS4, Cable box, surround sound system, blue ray, etc) only to find out a HMDI cable went bad and not the hardware itself. The swing of emotion from “oh shit I have to replace that expensive piece of hardware that some how broke” to “oh thank god it’s only a bad cable” but then realizing I spent 4 fucking hours figuring this shit out.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

I have never owned my own vehicle (that I paid for) until October. I've been leasing the previous 10 years. Never got a chip in my window.

Less than 1 year in, I already have 2 of them now. Such bullshit.

Unless the crack distorts my view as a driver I let cracks go that are unrepairable; factory seal is the best seal.

They are both small and below my line of sight. It's more just the principle. So I'm gonna leave em be. Someone said that there is some sort of gel you can put on small ones. Haven't looked into it yet tho.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

I dont think this rises to "grind my gears" category but I use yahoo as my homepage and scroll the news links. Every fucking day there are these paid-for ads disguised as articles ...

"Kylie Jenner Matched Her New Pink Hair to Her Bra and It's a Whole F*ckin Vibe"
https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/kyli...210100027.html

Right underneath that is an "article" titled .. "Kylie Jenner now has chocolate brown hair and people's reactions are off the scale".

This is clearly just her PR team writing fluff for Cosmo or Seventeen. I love how they fake hype it within the headline so we know how to react -- "off the scale" and "its a whole fucking vibe".

I assume they then pay Yahoo and other outlets to feature these ads disguised as articles.

-----------------

None of us want to be a part of this cycle. Article about Kim wowwing in a leopard suit, people comment "who fucking cares", article gets clicks, next day new article about Jenners hair color, people comment "who fucking cares", clicks, new day new article ..

what i am doing right now is also part of the Kardasian cycle ..people complaining about Kardashians is their MO.

sigh ... do another porn video or something

+1, that is the worst. I keep trying to find the perfect spot, do you put your plate/bowl more to the outer ring or do you center it in the middle? Haven't found the spot yet that works for the microwave at work.

For sure. When eating frozen foods you have 2 choices: Burn the roof of your mouth or eat food cold.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Pro tip: try changing the power setting to 70-80% and increasing the time a bit. I found this cooks it a lot more evenly.

LMAO, my bad. Increase power to 2000% and pound a Budweiser. That way your mouth can be numb for when you eat your molten lava food ya pussy!
