Call it mechanics, or reading a Defense or whatever you want. Call him Joe Schmoo or Tim Tebow but his career completion percentage according to profootballreference.com is 47.9%. That is waaaay below average and won't keep you on any team.
I don't love his character. It lacks both humility and common sense.

Anyone see all the BS before the game? I swear the NFL can't even get out of it's own way. Who is responsible for these concerts? Keith Urban and then I have to look at Ryan Secrest? What a bunch of garbage.

They are but it's just one game. I'd be curious to see them when the weather gets bad and they might have to run the ball a bit more.

Tim Tebow is a person of very high character, so I'm not sure how you can dislike him as a person. To be able to field all the criticism he gets, even from his teammates, and still remain kind and upbeat, is something that's becoming rare in today's world. I'll admit, he sometimes seems a little self-righteous, but overall, he's a very refreshing change from idiots like Aaron Hernandez, Chad Johnson, or Richard Sherman.

It amused me that I was out on the ledge with plenty of game left. But with a cooler head after waking up, not watching the 2nd half, and to my delight, the Ravens lost.

Odd? IDK, I'm weird as shit. It was just a dialogue between upset self pre-end of game vs day after game over self.

I live in Bmore where people are assholes, spout off tribalism to opposing fans who like my family had been season ticket holders from the '50's- Feb '12 (before trading the rights to RG3 for those historians), and their team wins championships. So it may bring out "odd" shit when the ravens lose b/c it means more to me than anyone outside of Bmore can fully understand.

And I think after watching that game, I've become more aware that despite an absentee Defense, Manning and the broncos can win a game that I had pegged them to lose.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

Why are people still talking about a guy who doesn't even play in the NFL anymore?

Y! SPORTS

Quote:
At the Super Bowl, Sanders blasted the retired players who joined in on a now-settled concussion suit with the NFL, claiming it was a money grab for players for what he claimed was a safe sport.

But it turns out that Sanders already was part of a different money grab himself, some two years prior. According to the Los Angeles Times, Sanders filed for workers' compensation in California, claiming that he had suffered head trauma and other injuries incurred while playing for the Dallas Cowboys.

This is why I couldn't stand him then, and can't stand him now. Self-righteous hypocritical douchebag.

Yeah, they probably should have had a punt, pass, kick competition instead.
