Re: Redskins @ Cards gameday thread

We are down 18 points with 7 min to go and we are running draws and 4 yard passes. Not impressed with Turner and this window dressing offense.

They are not? Let's look at their offense:

- Kenyan Drake

- D. Hopkins

- L. Fitz (he's old, but he's still good)

- A couple of young WRs drafted last year

- A functional offensive line.

- A mobile QB that had all of last year to learn the offense and has the same coaches from last year.

And on defense they have an elite pass rusher, an elite safety, and an aging but still good CB in Patrick Peterson.

Yes, they are a much better team and have obviously gotten it together after struggling and rebuilding last year.

Same boat. Prior to COVID, I planned on driving out to Arizona for this game. Thank goodness I couldn't go.

We all knew AZ would be a better opponent, they are just clearly better

Steve Sims, Jr is an excellent slot WR. He is a very good complement to McLaurin. Inman is just holding the spot at WR#2 until someone better comes up. Small chance that Cam Sims could move up.

Redskins @ Cards gameday thread

Reality check today and the reality is pretty harsh. We are a bottom ten team in the league. Plain snd simple.
Our offense is light years away and probably needs about 5-7 new starters to be legit.
Our defense is pretty average. Cards took their foot off the gas they could have scored 50.

Arizona seems to be a playoff team. After seeing them come back on 49ers (who destroyed the Jets yesterday) I knew they were the real deal.

We're not in win-now mode, nor we are "VERY CLOSE" like Bruce Allen foolishly thought. We're rebuilding, and you keep Haskins there to see if he works out or not.

Also, Arizona has clearly become an elite team. And we're not the team that has the talent to beat a team like that.
Yeah I agree. Play Haskins let him sink or swim. If he develops into something serviceable great if not we get a high draft pick.
