Agreed, unless he's injured again, in which case it's genius. Time will tell🤔

I think it's a great move dealing Chase. They see him up close everyday. We've seen him now for a few years. He's not going to be a great player. Get what you can for him which they did. Good move Washington.

If RR has a job 2 days after the season ends, I am out.

Dealing him is one thing. Dealing him for basically a fourth round pick his ludicrous.

This answers some questions

I was told Washington ownership had a strong hand in deciding to deal both Chase Young and Montez Sweat. Many in the building wanted to keep them because they believe in this team but in the end, its about the future for the Commanders.

He knows. He is probably being told to get as many picks as possible.

i mean he doesn't have a contract in place plus his track record of staying healthy is well we all know, so SF is gambling on him being a star for the rest of the year, he has never really ever meet his potential or i should say his marketed potential

Now his marketed potential i would agree we should have get a 2nd or higher draft pick for his actual production a 3rd sounds actually generous

People value Chase cause of his draft pick status. That was years ago. They didn't pick up his option. That told you pretty much everything.

Toohill plays every bit as good if not better. If he was so valued then how come no one offered more than a 3rd?

Look at Young’s stats this year, they gave away a great player for shit.

Exactly. CY was a bust plain and simple. He was regarded as a “generational talent “ by almost everyone. He’s had 14 sacks lmfao seee ya
