Morris had 60 yards on 11 rushes in the first half yet you go away from him. You clearly see your QB limping on 1 leg in the FIRST quarter yet mike thinks he'll be able to finish the game effective and keep him in.3rd and 10 and 3rd and 12 the defense cant get off the field. Sad,because in a playoff game when you are up 14 -0 at home and you have momentum from the crowd to keep running it down their throats and control the game, the coaches lay down and are satisfied with a 14-13 lead for most of the game which we all knew the inevitable. It never clicked in the coaches heads that this is the playoffs and losers go home. I am not satisfied or happy because this game should have been a win. This game to me was easier than Dallas, Bmore and NY Giants however we played down to Seattle, got conservative and gave the game away.
You expected us to lose every game down the stretch...and now you're bitching?

We are now considered a much better team than Seattle?

We went from a bunch of no talent bums with a past his prime Coach who hires his family over good football people and couldnt recognize a good player to build a football team to a team that should never lose again... and my ice hasnt even melted in my coke yet...

Being a Redskins fan can be confusing at times.

Just a note to think about for the future:

2 rookie candidates for Rookie of the Year (out of 5 total).

Won the last 7 Rookie of the Week's of the season. As well as winning 11 of the 17 ROW's total for the year (Griffin - 7, Morris - 3, KC - 1). Redskins rookies won it 11 times, the rest of the rookies in the NFL won it 6 times, with Luck grabbing 3 of those.

The future looks bright. HTTR!

Amen.

I am not happy it is over, but this season was much better than I expected and the future looks bright. Now it's time to look at how this team can take another step or two towards the ultimate goal...

I want to rewind to14-0. The turning point to me was when we were driving again and it was 3rd and 2. Griff had plenty of room to pick up the two yards. He didnt even really have to run it was like take a step or two and go down. He wound up throwing a bad ball in the dirt and i felt like thats when the air started coming out of the balloon.

Mike Shanahan: We wouldn't risk further injury to RG3 - NFL.com
Quote:
... Griffin aggravated the injury on a rollout in the second quarter, leading to a brief trip to the Washington locker room area to get taped up. At halftime, Shanahan asked Griffin if he was healthy enough to continue.

"Robert said to me, 'Coach, there's a difference between injured and being hurt. I can guarantee I'm hurting right now, give me a chance to win this football game because I guarantee I'm not injured,' " Shanahan said. "That was enough for me."
Shanny isn't the person to blame in this situation

Re: Seahawks 24 Skins 14 post game thread

'Nuff blame to go around. It wasn't our best game, and it was one that in hindsight if things were handled differently, yeah we probably could have pulled it off. I don't believe that Shanny would intentionally risk the future of the club or Robert by keeping him out there though. The thought process was probably as such that he believed Robert gave the team the best chance to win. Maybe Cousins comes in and leads the team to victory...maybe he comes in and throws two INTs and loses the game...who knows. I do wish they hadn't abandoned the running game though, or maybe it was just me...but it seemed like Morris didn't get many touches after the first quarter. It felt at times that Kyle was outsmarting himself out there.

Can't wait until next year

RG III should have come out of the game - NFC East Blog - ESPN

Dan Graziano does some good work for ESPN, and he hit another home run with this blog.

I blame Montgomery for the horrible snaps! Seriously though, what was up with him? Kerrigan looked confused and slow all game, but maybe bad ankle? No pass rush from front four in critical 3rd downs. Bs interference call on hall. Fumble into a 20 yard gain? Come on. Abandoned the run. Too many blunders. Just hope rg is ok. Even if it is acl, look at Petersen.
