I wouldn't mind it. But I'd still want at least one more young potential franchise QB.
He's too brittle, weak arm, fairly accurate though. I still say draft and develop a QB

I think the Missionary position needs to be addressed. Highly over-rated.

Hopefully it will not be addressed in the "Locker Room"? Perhaps you should consider a forum change? Like.....

Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed

RG3 or Landry Jones 1st. We have too many needs to give up what it would take to get Luck. We are rebuilding. I think Griffin or Jones would be great, I like Jones because he's 6'4" 230 lbs. Love RG3's accuracy. Both are way smart on the field. Not a fan of Tannehill or Barkley.

After that, O-line all day. Package lower picks to trade up and get starters. Cordy Glenn, DeCastro, Osemele, Peter Konz, Mike Adams, Nix, Brewster, any of those guys would be great for us. And I hope Shanny goes against his beliefs and drafts BIG athletic guys, not small athletic guys. This ain't Mile High.

Wouldn't mind grabbing an ILB, one of the Bama guys, or Teo or Burfect.

RB, WR, and DB can wait.

I would pay more for McCoy than Bradford. But ultimately, you're still trading for a guy who is still mostly promise and has had two "developmental" years wasted on a bad team. At the right price, I'd do it, but I wouldn't give the Browns more than they gave for him in the draft.

Why? What has Colt shown that would make you feel he is better than Bradford? I know you have your reasons GTripp, but I just don't know what they are.

Tripp gave an answer I expected. He's been for years now a Colt supporter

Ya, but say we get him. How would he function on two MORE years on a bad team????

Right now, the most important areas to address is our guards and our quarterback. We can function with what we have now at the other positions, and dont get me wrong, we have needs all across the board, but the offensive line and qb needs to be addressed, and it needs to be addressed this offseason, bottom line. No more veterans, no more "system" guys, no more friends. Get a young guy to develop, or we will continue to get ass-****ed.

It took 168 posts until someone got to the heart of the matter.

Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed

This is for those folks who would like to draft a QB AND at the same time have another guy here who can start for a year or so while the new guy "gets groomed" in the Shanahan system.

Here are three QBs who will be Free Agents come March 2012. [As best I can tell, none of them are Restricted Free Agents; I think all you have to do is to sign them...]

1. Drew Brees: Better than ANY QB on the Skins roster in at least 25 years. Good luck prying him loose from N.O.

2. Kyle Orton: Rex Grossman without the same number of INTs and fumbles.

3. Alex Smith: If the Niners win a playoff game with him under center, there is no way he will make it to free agency unencumbered. But if the Niners tank...

Fewer negative plays + red zone efficiency. It's not that I believe Colt McCoy is going to come in and solve anyone's long-standing problems (he apparently is helpless to solve the Browns problems), but I can't look at Bradford's numbers or at St. Louis Rams film and think that he's eventually going to overcome this and be great.

I think they're both solid starters in a good situation, and could backup in any system in the NFL. I don't believe a trade to Washington is suddenly going to revitalize a guy's career. They both have a ball security problem right now, and those are a mess to correct. It's possible, but I don't think we have the coaches on staff to correct either's issues.

The truth is that they are more similar than they are different, and really, Bradford has his draft position going for him, but that's really it.

He almost certainly wouldn't improve.

I think the Skins should replace Beck with Ron Jeremy as QB and Nina Hartley as the C, there would be no missed snaps and lots of action.

Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed

Positons of need as follow:
1. QB is our #1 need. I want us to draft our QB thats fits Shanny's system. I dont want some old vet or some other backup scrub to be our starter in 2012. Lets put the rookie in from day 1 and let him learn on the fly.
2.O-Line- We need a RT and LT for depth. Would like to draft a RT to start over Brown. He gets pushed back into the backfield to many times. Has trouble with speed rushers.
3.CB- Draft a CB that has size to match up with bigger wr in the divison.
4.LB- Groom a ILB to replace London in a few years.
5. WR-Big physical fast who can make plays in the red zone.
