I’m hoping for a San Fran coordinator or someone from the Shanny tree.

Zone Run game with good play action pass game.

Too me Chip Kelly is another thot

Re: Our New Head Coach - Dan Quinn

The more I read and as info comes out it really sounds like we dodged a bullet with Johnson . All along my pick to Head the team was never an inexperienced Young Coordinator ( Vrabel was my choice ) Quinn is the same type as Vrabel . Seems Quinn Wanted to be here! the fact the Quinn got a DC makes it even better !! Blessing in disguise so to speak ! I totally got caught up in the Negativity of the Quinn hire ( they are melting down on bleacher report) lot of guys spin it that we got fleeced and was left with our last choice .. that is not true, he was always in the top running. The number one priority is leadership and he has it ! Now to see where they go on O ..

They did that man so fucking dirty. Couldn't even give the poor guy a damn spoon. Man Snyder was a giant fuck-stick.

Re: Our New Head Coach - Dan Quinn

CBS Sports graded the hiring of Dan Quinn a D+. That was an unwarranted insult IMO. Two egregious losses in his career have caused people to go overboard in their criticism of Quinn. How many of the coaches who were hired as HC in this cycle have taken a team to the Super Bowl as a HC? I admit that I'm not jumping for joy with this hire but I'm not about to insult the man or the people who hired him. Let's give him a chance to succeed here. Meanwhile, Peters can load up on talent.

Hopefully Harris' role was simply to set the budge for staffing hires, then get out of the way. If any more money is possibly needed, then run it up the flag-pole. Otherwise, hopefully he isn't part of the process. Peters and Quinn can work together on that.

This dude has "C" hire written all over him. Anything lower than that is a bit much. But opinions are like assholes and elbows, we all got em.

In terms of how most hiring trends it is unconventional in that he seems to be more of the same. Recently it seems teams drafting a QB pair with a young HC that was an innovative coordinator. This is why I said it depends on the coordinators. A retread also banking their entire HC career on a team that is so far from being relevant is also unconventional. He has a small window to try to make this happen and if it doesn't succeed he is probably a career coordinator from here on out. Watching Quinn's interviews I don't feel he has the arrogance or cockiness that some hot shit has and thinks they have a magic button and will turn this franchise around. He knows it will involve turmoil and might not succeed.

Re: Our New Head Coach - Dan Quinn

For those who are concerned that it looks like we settled, the reality is that we don’t know. But I’ll say this - Peters has a record that speaks for itself, and to me, this feels like being excited about buying a specific car but making sure to test drive other vehicles to help either validate your choice or see if you can be pleasantly surprised to go in another direction. And not being driven by FOMO seems like a better approach than the stupid random shit we’ve endured for the last quarter century. I’m in wait and see mode with a dash of optimism. We don’t have Snyder or any of the clowns he surrounded himself with.

Best team names ever:

Supersonics
Redskins

Both of them were my teams. Now I have:

Thunder (which I actually like now, but it's no Supersonics)
Commanders (2nd worst name in sports after Guardians, thanks Cleveland)

Giants suck donkey-ass, until they play the Commandos, then they're the best team in the NFL.

I think Jazz is pretty bad, due to its irrelevance to Utah, although a bunch of mormons wearing sunglasses with their short sleeve button downs playing saxophone in a smoky bar makes me laugh.
